I just got the lift 33 and it’s pretty sweet. Definitely a good balance of fast and smooth

I’m obsessed with my new 29.5 Lift! Can confirm you have 70lbs, my 480g arrow is going 282fps at 29” draw 70lb mods. Finally upgraded from a PSE brute that I shot for 8 years!

Very nice and thorough comparison of the last two bows from Mathew’s. I have only held them but have not shot them. Definitely plenty fast 💨 enough with either arrow 🏹

When I went to my local Bow Shop 5-6 months ago I shot both & honestly liked the Phase 4 29 Better & went with it.... The Only thing I really liked Better about the Lift was How Light it was (which was a def. difference) but, I wasn't a big fan of the Draw on it. We did Speed test on both as well 29/70 w/ a 450gr. arrows & just like you we only saw maybe a 3-5fps. difference. Both Really Nice Bows in their own rights though & couldn't go wrong with selecting either, I just didn't see enough of a difference overall in going w/ the Lift especially how long it was taking to get mods for it.

Technically, if you were shooting 29” mods on the P4 and 29” mods on the Lift, then you gave the P4 an extra 1/2” of draw length. The old mods were all 1/2-5/8 long compared to the SWX mods being spot on to maybe 1/4 long. That is another 5fps the Lift has to make up for in this comparison.

What new material is the string?

OF course you'll have to change the sight between bows, one bow is faster than the other, though with only a couple feet per second difference, you might be OK until you get really far out. You really should check the draw weight on those because the Lift should be faster than the Phase 4 if set at the same draw weight. I'm thinking the Phase 4 is probably heavier draw weight based on your test results .
