The other exciting news is that we had the most amazing show with Josh Turner and Carson McKee in New York City. Thank you to everyone who came out to see us and those who lived streamed it from home via Facebook. We figured since we were going to be in the same city again, it was a great chance to make a couple more videos to share with people who couldn’t make it out to the concert. Here I present Toni Lindgren and Josh Turner doing “Butter and Eggs” by Julian Lage and Chris Eldridge (and a little “Whiskey Before Breakfast” at the end). These are two monster players and it was a total treat for me to see them work together.

I started guitar 7 years ago at the age of 47. Playing everyday is like yoga for me. Toni and Josh are my two favorite guitarist that inspire me everyday. Just want to thank them for being part of my guitar journey....and for sharing their talent. Not just great guitarist, but after hundreds of videos I find them to be just decent authentic young adults. Thank you both and continue doing what you do.

Well, as an old bluegrass guitarist, I've never been much for playing old fiddle tunes ...but ... I find I'm always captivated by Josh and his multitalented young friends. So, unpretentious, and that joyful laugh at the end defines what playing this kind of music is all about.
the future of "real" music may yet be safe when all us ol' baby boomers have fallen off our twigs! Onward kids onward!

the hours I've put in listening to these two (and friends) has been an incredible ride
They play as one. Their music brings peace to the soul. If this is an example of the youth of today there is hope for the future.

I just have to comment; even talented musicians like yourselves have moments of perfection. That was one of the prettiest duets I have ever heard. The fact that you are still young and have a many years of playing ahead of you gives me hope for real music to survive an uncertain future. Thank you both!
I'm 68 and mainly listen to and play blues. I simply can't get enough of the music that this huge circle of friends/very talented musicians put out. So precise, soothing, and relaxing. They cover all genres of music and have so much fun doing it. I would definitely buy a complete DVD set of everything that they have recorded thus far if it's available with more to follow. I'd like to hear Blue Jean Blues if possible. Very special group!

Two of our finest young guitarists. Handing the lead back and forth, it's fun watching them purse their lips as they try to keep up with each other.
I'm just about 73(in a month) and I have had a guitar close since I was 12. These young people take talent to another level. Could listen all day! Burlington Bill busking on the road and here on you tube.

LOVE how Toni just can't seem to suppress a smile at 3:39 (although she gets it back under "professional control" quickly....) These two are both "top notch" --- I love their work both individually and in combination. First "discovered" Toni playing with another "favorite" Reina del Cid. I'd give a lot to attend a live concert by any/all of 'em. You too Carson....

Excellent! Love everything these artists produce. I especially love the way Toni's smile breaks out on her face evincing pure joy in her art! She gets it back under control and resumes "serious artist" mode pretty quickly, only for it to shine forth again (and again...) Watch for it---it's a constant in all her work...

It's so nice that Reina credits Toni and Josh as monster players! We don't have to feel like losers when we're watching such professionals - even when they're just in their twenties! These two have such exciting careers in front of them!

Pure Gold. I own hundreds of LPs and at least 100 folk records. This is as good as it gets. So good, it is now in my top 10 of all time.
THAT was a beautiful duet, so well traded off and each feeding off each other, playing for the sheer joy of it, which came through in the beauty of the sound. I've just discovered Josh, Toni, Reina and gang this week, and I'm hooked. I love acoustic guitar and play many open mics, but nowhere near this level of guitar virtuosity. I truly admire what these youngsters do and their commitment to making very high quality music!

I have Bluetooth hearing aids and listened to this on my phone. The guitars were so crisp and clear I felt like I was sitting in the same room.
It is hard for me to decide which was more exhilarating; hearing the beautiful music as your fingers floated across the strings, or watching those fingers dancing across the frets with such agility and precision. It was like watching a ballet of fingers!
