  • Don Untiedt has developed one of the most impressive gardens in his city lot. One such feature is the rock-line walkway descending to his lakeshore, complete with waterfalls and bridges.

A beautiful garden. I would love a personal tour. What a fine example of diversity.

Hi! Since this was a different host, I had to review this episode and look at the roses. Many of the roses are of the hardy Canadian varieties. He mentioned those developed in Morden so that would include Morden Blush, Morden Centennial, Hope for Humanity, Winnipeg Parks and many others. I think he also had some of the varieties developed in Ottawa because I think I saw some of those varieties too (William Baffin - climber). Many of these are rebloomers and very hardy. There were also hybrid tea varieties mentioned and there are a gazillion of those. Roses
are so beautiful and fun to grow. Hope this helps!
