  • Urban Meyer and Braxton Miller revisit all the biggest moments in Urban Meyer’s first year as Ohio State’s head coach including his decision to come to Ohio State, the 'crucible of training' he put players through, and how, despite a postseason ban, the team finished an unlikely 12-0.

Would Ohio State have won the national title in 2012 had they not had a postseason ban?

    • @Zachhwilliamssssss

No, they barely beat Indiana and Purdue. 2013 Ohio state was way more dominant and they didn’t win the natty

No Way ! OSU struggled to beat 5 or 6 unranked teams and it took OT to beat Purdue.
Meyer won every game the next year too => and then LOST BOTH Post season games.
IF => IF OSCAR MEYER had played Braxton Miller at WR and Kenny Guiton at QB in a Pass First Spread Offense => then it would have been more likely. Meyer was a great recruiter but a PUTZ of a Head Coach/Offensive tactician (and he stunk as our Special Teams Coach).
Thankfully we won the NATTY in 2014 => in spite of him !!!
Urban Liar => played the WRONG QB every year but 2018 => and by then => Luke Fickell had left for Cincinnati and our Defense was pathetic.
It would have been interesting to let Meyer Recruit and then let Tom Herman, Ed Warinner, Tim Beck, Kevin Wilson and Ryan Day pick their own QB and Offensive Scheme => to SEE HOW MANY NATTY'S OSU WOULD HAVE WON WITH => Guiton, Jones, Burrow and Haskins !
Meyer squandered the BEST QB CORP ever seen in FBS => and yet still => two of Meyer's 3rd string QB's won NATTY's => after MEYER was pushed out of the way !

Braxton is the greatest OSU quarterback ever. Urban even said the o line was below average, WR were below average and Carlos wasn’t that good yet. “It was Braxton left, Braxton right.” He carried our offense to 12-0 with what urban called a bad defense all the way up to the Michigan game.

Iv been saying since 2013 that the load he carried in 2012 broke him. He was never the same pure athlete after. He certainly lost a lot of his top speed

2013 Ohio state was way more dominant besides the end of the year meanwhile 2012 Ohio state barely beat Indiana, Purdue, and other mediocre teams while ohio state blew out most teams

  • @joeldrewwaldengrounds6931

THE TOP 4 SPOTS SHOULD ONLY GO TO CONFERENCE WINNERS 1) Alabama 2) Clemson 3) Notre Dame 4) Baylor (last year was not a fluke) 5)Memphis 6)Marshall , maybe not a strong schedule , but conference winner and undefeated . 7)UGA 8)Oklahoma 9) BYU 10)North Carolina Because B1G and Pac 12 are not playing FCS schools should be Bowl Eligible
