Thank you for watching our reaction to Freddie Starr and The Jordanaires performing "Don't" in an Elvis Presley impersonation!
Did Freddie Starr's rendition take you back to the glory days of Elvis? If you enjoyed our reaction and this nostalgic performance, please give this video a thumbs up, subscribe to our channel, and share your thoughts or your favorite Elvis songs in the comments below.
Let’s keep the music and memories alive, friends!
Just do a search for "freddie starr and the jordanaires", there are more songs.
Freddie star had a speech stammer that’s how he would bring in visual comedy
You should check out chewing the fat a Scottish comedy show
@@jamesduris6366Or Still Game 😁
Can you please played trouble from the film King creole please
Freddie was one of the most talented people in the 70s and 80s and was treated like absolute crap by the British media in the 90s, which led to him falling into depression
It was more the 2000s and the fall out from Jimmy Saville
Totally agree
he certainly was ,broke the poor man , he gave so much of himself to his public ,and then the media destroyed him
he looked terrible at the end of his life
@EscapeTheMatrix...... Accusations were made against him that were proven to be a barrel of lies but as you say, it was wokery that eventually led to the end of his career. Awful. Thankfully, he was brought home to be buried with his parents on Merseyside.
The one and only Freddie starr genius
RIP Freddie you were great!
I remember watching this on TV. This just had me in tears. RIP Fred x
Freddie was an amazing talent, but was also an unpredictable loose cannon ?? You never knew what he was going to do next - especially on live shows ! RIP Freddie !
He was brilliant may he rest in peace
Freddie was so talented and could impersonate many people but I think Elvis is the only one he didn’t turn into comedy. The Jordanaires were amazing and I would love to have a deep voice like the guy on the end. Great reaction again.
I remember this and after the Jordanaires where shocked by Freddie’s voice they said that Elvis was there .
Jess needs to search for “Freddie Starr the Legend tribute to Elvis”, 40 minutes of Freddie singing Elvis songs. You’ll love it ❤
Freddie was a big Elvis fan and the best Elvis impersonator. Freddie was so multi talented and greatly missed. You should see his comedy impersonations 😂.
Elvis was fantastic and Freddie was brilliantly fantastic ❤.
This is one of the better reaction channels out there. Either because of Jess's infectious laughing during the comedy segments, or in this case, because of how genuinely moved she seemed to be by Starr's voice.
Jess is definitely one of a kind. She makes everything better, including this channel.
Freddie is an amazing singer in his own right, he has a fabulous voice. he loved Elvis.
😚Freddie not only had a terrific singing voice...he "had me in stitches" with his [so] versatile comedy routines...he is missed, VERY much!! He was a "one-off" RIP
He can sing beautifully ❤
jess I loved your very emotional reaction, I sat here in the u k feeling exactly the same
Freddies impressions were mostly for comedy value but he was a massive Elvis fan and took singing his songs very seriously. His mimicking of Elvis voice was effortless
Freddie star was unique,he could do it all ,from comedy, acting, through to his singing voice, impersonating Elvis was his best beautiful voice.unfortunately he suffered bad with depression.watched him live on number of occasions he was the best, his comedy was fantastic.him and jethro both had beautiful voices jethro was a story teller, they were fantastic if u have a weak heart, don’t.both were a great loss R.I.P Freddie star, jethro🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Fantastic, guys! I'm so glad you have, at last..."discovered" Freddie Starr...a favorite of the British people, without a doubtMy best to you both...
What a voice freddie , god bless you 🇬🇧
What a great reaction, made better by the fact the young lady loves Elvis and enjoyed Freddie singing one of his songs, nice one guys✌️
Freddie we miss him so much natural talent you too guys are great your missus face when they started singing priceless ❤
Elvis made many movies, most really beaten up by the critics but as a boy growing up in the 50s and 60s I couldn't wait for each new one to be released. My favourite back then was Kissing Cousins, where he played identical twins. Freddie was always so respectful with his Elvis impersonations. Great reaction. Thanks
Looking at her face she was smitten ❤
Always great to see the both of you. The Jordanaires provided the backing vocals for Elvis up until 1970 (from 1956) - 1970 was considered the last great year of his career, so the Jordanaires were a mainstay during his success
I remember watching this live on Television, we always said that this was the very best Elvis act we had ever seen and we were Elvis Presley fans, the Jardinieres were great and Freddie Star was an all round entertainment system.
This was a segment in a show called "An Audience With" where performers were invited to perform in front of an audience of celebrities.
Freddie was well known for his outrageous sense of humour and practical jokes. When he left the stage to interact with the audience you could see people in the audience getting nervous and agitated hoping he'd pick on soneone else😅.
A multi talented man.
As an 11year old kid on holiday in Cornwall England the news came over the radio of elvis death hit me hard I remember tearing up on the back seat of the car.it was painfull & joyfull listening to his songs that particular day.
As so many of you I watched this when broadcast. Proved what a talent both for comedy and singing he had.
I was lucky enough to have seen Freddie live and met him after true comedy Legend RIP
Yeah I saw him in Ipswich, Suffolk. He was hilarious!
So very dearly missed.. a pure talented performer..
Love that you react to Freddie he definitely shouldn't be forgotten 😊
I was fortunate enough to see Freddie in concert a couple of times and I can report that the guy was a genius, a true one off.... As I am writing this Elvis has just started playing on the radio....
guys you should watch this one with freddie doing elvis, he has the elvis suit on, the hair, he does the elvis triology, which elvis did in hawaii,
Freddie Starr - Elvis Presley Tribute
Thank you for reacting to this superb performance. I saw Freddie perform live in the 80s, and he had the whole audience crying with laughter for the whole show..including me :) Another guy who does good impressions that I like is Stevie Riks. He does very good Elvis tributes. My favourites from him are, The Impossible Dream and If I can Dream
Freddie Starr was Awsome in them days 😉 funny and had a really good voice 👌 absolutely brilliant 👏
We had the beatles and stones in England but they all wanted to be elvis. The king.
Folk's great reaction. Please react to Freddie doing his impression of Ray Charles the jazz singer. This show is live and even funnier than his Vincent routen..Best wishes from the Giants Causeway here in Northern Ireland ❤️❤️❤️👍
Amazing , love Freddie Starr,RIP 🇬🇧
JUST WOW
FANtastic!
Your faces said it all during the reaction, thanks guys!
I've listened to this many times i miss Freddie still get chill's everytime i listen to this 💖
He did a great Mick Jagger impression very funny love Freddie star .
Great reaction. So glad you did not pause it. ATB regards
As a local lad from my home town of liverpool I was privileged to see Freddie at the Wooky Hollow cabaret club. He was an amazing live performer. His original zany routines would literally leave you with pains from laughing . And he did it all while overcoming a speech impediment. Truly unique . His like do not come along that often. His singing voice and his appearances on the Des O'Connor show bring back fond memories. There is no substitute for natural talent.
Hi Guys greetings from England 🇬🇧 you really should check out Freddie Starr appearances on The Des O' Connor Show and this was a popular English TV Chat Show and poor Des O'Connor was quite literally terrified when Freddie was on his show as he never knew what Freddie was going to do and its so worth while checking out Freddie on the Des O' Connor Show.
He also sang 'The Girl of My Best Friend' with the Jordanaires on the same show.
And 'Can't Help Falling in Love' too!!!
That's my favourite Elvis song!
Legend of Man
Freddie had them come back again for a second time. The videos out there.
I love Freddie Starr! Thank you for taking me back. You should also watch his stand-up, where he brings members of the audience on stage. Brilliant!
Freddie could be Elvis, Elvis couldn't be Freddie!
he sounds great
i remember the day he passed, i got very drunk! Bless that man he was unique!
The Jordanaires - how very professional.
Wonderful
I'm now in my 80s and a life long Elvis fan, I left school in the 50s and with my first weeks wage of £4, I went out and got an Elvis LP, sadly I lost it with all my other records in a house fire in 2022. Love your reaction thanks
My mother had all the American gospel elvis albums, and so.e person in the royal navy female stole them all from her locker.
Mike & Jess BEAUTIFUL 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻…..👌🏻
The Jordanaires sang backup for so many artists.
They were reported as saying he did the best Elvis impression they'd ever heard.
im 59 years old, elvis was the the top, bought all his lp's and stuff even after his death, i remember his death, im from the UK, and i was on holiday with my grandaparents, in the UK the summer break from school was 6 weeks, both my parents worked, so we went to our grandparents for the summer, 3 weeks at one grandparents and 3 weeks at another, i remember, sitting, my grandmother cutting my hair and it came on the news that elvis had passed, after that, we played his records, stop start copy the lyrics so i could sing along, the tape recorder was better than the record player,
what i find different now, is elvis came from the US, the fonze, skate boards, even top gun, so many american things filtered there way to the UK then europe, with the fonze, top gun, the fashion, we all buy leather jackets beatle crushers whit T shirts, then top gun, flight jackets and i iconic mirror sun glasses, but over the last 10 to 20 years, america has lost that greatness what we thought, to the point we dont care, what you have what your doing, all we hear now, is corruption, guns, school shootings, hi medical, poverty, they may now be because of more social media, guys you fallen behind in the US, come after me in the comments if you want
The misremembering of the title of the song reminds me of that talent show clip where the woman says she is going to sing 'Ken Lee' lmao.
Several years ago,my friend Johnny Earl toured Europe with the Jordanaires backing him. They said of him that, although he sang Elvis songs, he never tried to impersonate him.
Your Vincent reaction earned you a sub and Jess's reaction on this one is just epic, she was in heaven. Do more guys :(
The late great freddie
I'm ray from Portsmouth UK, originally from London. I watch you views on freddy Starr. And it's a good feeling seeing someone else admire the raw talent. My father who was a music purist, would say stuff like , why is he taking the piss, why doesn't he just sing it properly. My father had his own opinion, but given that he used to drink and play darts with Tom Jones, who knows. It put me off performing music.
My father was actually right, the few times freddy sang serious.
I'm waffling.. the thing that most brits don't even know, freddy started his career as a singer. At the same time as the Beatles and all the other famous bands evolved.
Freddie's band was called Freddie starr and the midnighters.
It was on you tube..
His comedy was an accident of queue blocking at an early stage of his singing. Just letting you guys know.. just a little backstory. And there is a lot more singer impressions that Freddie has done. But for your guys personal journey. Maybe have a look, Freddie Starr and the midnighters. Xx love your reviews on loads of your reviews
Don't is my fav Elvis song next to don't cry daddy
Freddie is great But Elvis is the King!
Freddie was a legend, sadly passed away, he got caught up in the jimmy saville thing, operration yew tree, i wont go into it, he was cleared, but took a toll on his health and finaces, sadly the stress really finish him off, it died a porper, i have hear the undertakers paid for his funeral, I remember seeing his last interview, when he was cleared, he was a shaddow of the man he was, and you could see he was broken RIP freddie
Hi, Jess and Mike...ANOTHER Brit worth checking out performing as 'ELVIS' if you haven't seen him, is Ben Portsmouth. This man is uncanny, believe me! Looking forward to more from you both...
Wish I knew about more Freddie Starr B4 he passed.
Saw him live many times back in the early 70's when I was a kid. His comedy show used to end and then the auditorium lights would go down and (I think it was this)...Strauss's Sprach Zarathustra would play and then "Elvis" would appear before our very eyes (70's style Elvis in white rhinestone encrusted jump suit)!! Freddie would perform lots of Elvis songs to end a fantastic evening of entertainment.
Freddie was a genius, so much talent....
Loved this video guys Freddie is wee Starr. lol
What a pleasure for the backing group.
He was just so talented so funny
So glad I found your channel and a beautiful reaction from the beyond gorgeous Jess. Love her laugh as well. Thank you.
I SAW FREDDIE do a one off elvis tribute show no comedy just straight amazing i would say he must have channelled the soul of elvis , next is elvis secret visit to london in 1957 with rock n roll cockney singer and actor tommy steele
Great reaction guys and Freddie Starr was super talented. He could certainly sing and he was hilarious to boot. Just a thought but if you love Elvis I suggest you check out ‘In The Ghetto’ by Bouke. He sounds spookily like Elvis.
Long before his comedy career, Freddie fronted a couple of bands in Liverpool back in the Merseybeat days of the early 60s. Freddie Starr and The Midnighters, also Freddie Starr and The Delmonts.
Loved your reaction sweetheart 🥰
Freddie came from Liverpool and was a contemporary of The Beatles.
Freddie Starr did a tv program here he paid homage to Elvis.
Its called Freddie tribute to the King.
Can you please react to The one and only Freddie starr
Freddie starr what I say live
Freddie starr and Des O'Connor 10th appearance 1994
The Very best of Freddie Starr
There are more clips of Freddie and the jordinaires. One he does he sings my best friends girl with them.
Freddie did quite a few songs with them all from the same show, Girl of my best friend and too much monkey business being my favourites ,you need to react to those too.
Plot twist.....Elvis is still alive!! 😉🤫
He did a couple of more songs at the end of this show ( an audience with Freddie Starr ) with The Jordanaires
The Girl Of My Best Friend is even better by Freddie
Jess to let you know incase you didn't know.
Freddie star started his career.
He was a elvis impersonator
Freddie did sing more songs with the Jordanaires later on the show
He also does a cover of the girl of my best friend, king creole and falling in love.
There’s more songs he sings more Elvis with them.

You love Elvis, listen to Pastor Bob Joyce sing!!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I watch some shows on TV that tell us it's a " Celebrity Charity/Comedy/Gameshow" special, and do not have a bloody clue who these people are or what they are suppose to be a celebrity for. And I feel so sorry for the younger generation being fed this drivel of so called entertainment on tv not knowing the pleasure the whole family looking forward to sitting down with Freddie or Alf Garnett for an hour . I have spent a small fortune buying up DVD's of old entertainers/shows and stand up comedians and really shocked to see how many are being put on the banned list of distribution because they might offend people.
Very wise.
