If u don’t want streaks while painting paper dolls I use frosted crystal embossing powder on parts of the dolls, great video.

    Good morning Paula 🥰
What a fun project, I have those distress crayons and haven't played with them much. You have inspired me to use my crayons and I love your results. Hope you have a good day, take care of you 💜

Painting the paper dolls...what an awesome idea, Paula!! I absolutely must try that! I am wondering if a very thin coat of clear gesso before the paint might be helpful, since the dolls are a little shiny....?

I use 3 coats of Finnabair’s clear gesso. I dry with heat gun. I use q-tip & worn lipstick distress ink for the cheeks. I dab it with one end and smooth with the other end.

Paula, did you coat the paper dolls with collage medium or clear gesso before colored them?
