    If you feel like you do not want to hold your baby or the thought gives you anxiety. You might have PPD (postpartum depression) or PPA (postpartum Anxiety). This is the first baby I have had that I have enjoyed being with. This is also the first baby I have had that I chose not to breastfeed. It’s not talked about but breastfeeding can bring on PPD or PPA. I’m thankful I get to enjoy this one. I love all my children immensely, it just feels like a special treat to be able to go through the first year without those thoughts and feelings of negativity.

    Where are the fathers in this video? It's very bizzare and presumptuous to assume that its only the womans responsibility to care for babies/kids. Both parents, inclidimg the father, are both capable and responsible for providing many aspects of parenting; providing nourishment, education, love, care, encouragement.. etc.

      Team Queen’ s Fearn Tucker and Bentley Forever Fathers matter a lot to a child’s development. Children with both parents in their lives grow up to be more successful statistically. And young babies should get skin on skin and 1 hour of interaction with their fathers a day. However, mom should do most of the work since the baby is more familiar with her, and it’s important for bonding.

    • @logandanae8692
      @logandanae8692 Před 5 lety +2

      alextrose7 0-3 months mothers usually have maternity leave where as the father goes back to work and is not home all day. Mothers generally take on the caretaker role first for the simple reason that in the beginning, they have time off from work and can devote all their time to the baby. A good father shouldn’t need a video specifically directed towards them to realize this is all things you can do when you have time with your child.

    • @alextrose7
      @alextrose7 Před 5 lety +2

      @@logandanae8692 doesn't have to be directed at me, it should for the sake of sexual equality like you women love so much, at least mention a father ONE TIME. So like I said, would you appreciate a video that suggested you weren't worth mentioning as it concerns providing for a family simply because you're a woman? I know strong women who don't take maternity leave to the fullest because they have a good man who works with them to build a schedule in which the baby is always with a parent. That is the type of relationship I am in and I couldn't respect my woman more for the things she does and she was just as offended at this video for its lack of mentioning the role of a father in all of this. So stop being pretentious you precious feminist wannabe, I have every right to feel the way I do about this and for you to say that I shouldn't be insulted and a good father wouldn't be is ridiculous. Your man might allow you to push him down beneath you but dont presume to do it with me lady. You clearly think that gender equality means women get full power and the men must submit, that's problem with you fake feminists. You give the truly strong women, who aren't afraid to acknowledge a mans role because they aren't intimidated by it, a bad name.

They didn't include any men at all. And you are right, if it were a video about financially providing for the child that only included men, I personally would be offended as a woman. All too often "feminism" seems to only flow one way and doesn't really seem to be about true equality.

Respect is shown non verbally & verbally, via body language, tone of voice & eye contact. Either way they will feel it. Sorry why make your baby feel disrespect when you can just show respect? TBC ShrOOm that’s stupid as not knowing the difference between respect and consent. Respect is in everything we do, not just say. You can either talk to your baby in a soothing and reassuring manner whilst changing their diaper, or, you can say nothing, rip of their clothes quickly, do it all silently and coldly. One is with respect and the other isn’t. They don’t need to understand the words you say, they can feel you.

    • @FartBox_BeatBox
      @FartBox_BeatBox Před 5 lety

      @@soukybird9274 respecting my baby would mean never changing his diapers because he hates it no matter how I talk to him. By respecting his 6 week old wishes I wouldn't do most of the things I need to do for him because he hates laying down, he hates laying on his stomach, he hates being changed, he hates being dressed, he hates bathing. I respect him enough to do these things whule acknowledging the fact that he doesn't fully understand what he wants or needs. He doesn't understand that what I'm doing is in his best interest.
      You don't seem to understand the difference between an emotional response and a sensational response because all a baby can feel is wrapped up in their senses and nothing more. He can't put a name to something he doesn't understand and obviously neither can you.

    • @soukybird9274
      @soukybird9274 Před 5 lety +4

      TBC ShrOOm truly sad that you think that. Showing respect doesn’t mean negligence. You can still meet all a baby’s needs including the ones they don’t like with respect. Doesn’t mean they’ll magically like it. You can choose to change his diapers respectfully or not. Respect doesn’t mean fulfilling their wishes. Respect is REGARD for the feelings, wishes, or rights of others. Good luck. Listen, I’m sure a decent mother, however if you truly think the only thing a baby feels is their senses, then you’re in for a shock the older and emotional he becomes ❤️ take care x

      In the video, they recommend keeping a few toys in sight so you don’t overstimulate the infant. Creating space is just a matter of decluttering. During playtime, you can move your coffee table to the side to create space for the baby. There’s also grass outdoors. Or maybe you can take them to library during Story Time and there’s plenty of space for crawling. Even the hallway of your home can be utilized, just put a playmat and have a basket of toys. Check out Books at the library and buy toys at the thrift store. Even cheaper just play with muffin tin, toilet paper roll, Tupperware, blanket and the classic peek a boo. The baby won’t be able to tell the difference between fancy toys and specific created space. But both can still experience the same way of helping develop their brain.

      AmidalaCdSK the video is called parenting tips just because it was women doing the demonstration you think that means dad's cannot also use the Information?you need a man to demonstrate it to you so you know dad's can also put a mirror infront of their baby?
