haven't told anyone yet but IM 6 WEEKSSSSSSSSSSSS PREGNANT FINALLYYY!!!! just found out last night
Congrats princess I'm 6 weeks too
Princess Lexox I just found out I’m pregnant as well! I’ll be 5 weeks in two days
I’m also 6 weeks! This is my rainbow baby so we’re really hoping to make it through to the second trimester.
How funny! I’m 6 weeks & 4 days . First baby 👶🏻
I have stage 4 endometriosis (TMI: spread all over my uterus, intestines, sciatic nerve and rectum), I was told that I was infertile at 12. I'm now 22 and me and my man are expecting a baby boy in January 2020 (I'm 33+1 today!). We're super excited as we thought that I would never get pregnant and if I did that something would go wrong! This video helped me a lot!! Thank you
Congratulations
Karoline pray for my friend, she also has endometriosis and she has been trying to get pregnant for 5 years now
@@fofomoon I will, sending babydust her way.
Update: I had my baby 23.01.2020. It was an easy birth, only 5 and a half hours active labour. Only thing is that I didn't go to the hospital as I didn't feel the difference between my usual flare up pain from the actual contractions. xD I came in at 7cm after my bf threw me in the car and forced me to the hospital. What would I do without him? xD
@@karoline1574 congratulations on your smooth labour and birth of baby!
FINALLY someone who doesn’t talk like a Kardashian!!!! I’m gonna give you a thumb up just for that. Thank you.
True

Seriously, such a refreshing personality.
So true
Oh hahahahahahahhaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone else think she looks like a real life Belle from beauty and the beast?
Omg she does!
Yes!
Lol
Sorora trueee
Yes she does!
My wife and I are expecting our first girl in June 2019 that's why I'm here 😊 #NewDaddyInTown
Congrats!!
congrats!
Congratulations
Congratulations....😊
June 10th 🙋♀️
For muslin swaddled try the new target cloud island brand!! They are $13 for three and they are bigger and softer than the aiden and anais blankets. Just FYI for those looking for a cheaper option.
Jessica Chipepo Great tip
I love that brand!
Jessica Chipepo you just informed me! I’m not good at spending a lot of money but I do love the Muslin blankets. I will totally buy some of that brand. So helpful, thanks!!!
Thank you!
They are now 19.99.
I'll try them regardless!☺️
So my 15 month old son just fell asleep to you speaking. For that alone I will subscribe haha
😂 😂 😂 😂
Nat--can you do a "what I actually used from my hospital baby bag" video for mom and baby. 🙏🏼👶🏻
Daisy Carrasquillo right💯
I would a video like that as well!!!
Yes please!!!!
Daisy Carrasquillo yes please!! Your bag and babies
You can also let us know if there was anything "missing."
Don't have babies, yet watch the entire video
Crystal Currie It's never to early to find out about all of these things. Lol
Debra DKT I have a 9yr old and 10year old sons. So I've had babies but not babies anymore lol
Crystal Currie me too!
Crystal Currie me too!!! Lol my kids are grown...
Crystal Currie hi
Finally somebody that thinks budget friendly! I have been checking a couple of videos and omg everyone talks like being a millionaire and having babies is hand by hand. Thank you so much for all your recommendations, subscribed!
I'm a feminist, and sadly I hear a lot of other feminists who are professionals in some field or another give grief to stay-at-home moms. But the thing is, some people were born for the caretaking/teaching role. Some people were just meant for this and are so so so so good at it.
We - society as a whole - NEED these people. Not only do the little humans you encounter in your lifetime benefit from your care, but so many others do, too, because you share these things with them.
As a feminist, I do not denounce this. I praise you. You are raising healthy, happy human beings who will one day contribute to society. Keep up the fantastic work, and thanks for sharing!
Anyone who says they are feminist and look down on stay at home mums do not know what feminism means... feminism is not about woman following a career and denouncing being a housewife... feminism is the freedom to choose what you want to do regardless of the so-called gender roles assigned by the society...
Most third wave feminists do look down on stay at home moms though--not stay at home dads, because that's progressive, just moms. It's not logical, it's just pathetic.
Imagine if a Mormon commented on a woman's profession, "As a Mormon, I do not denounce this. I praise you!" No one asked for your group's approval. It's ironic that "feminists" think giving out stamps of approval (in lieu of shaming) to SAHM is anything but infantilizing, misogynistic, and cultish behavior.
Lol chill out dude
And just to clarify, dear two scoopz, I do research in child development - mostly cognition/brain development, but also overall health and psychology - and I have a passion for my job. I have met many other women in the work place who have no concern for any type of maternity leave following the birth of their children. They have no interest in staying home to be with them. Additionally, they look down on women who do so - or women who choose not to work outside the home at all. This is damaging. That's what I was getting at. You sound like you need to go get laid.
I'm a new dad to be. My gorgeous wife is pregnant. Love your video. Great advice.
When is she due :)
@@problematicprincess6270 My wife is due on 14th of October
@@adventuresofsven2314 yay congratulations are you excited
@@problematicprincess6270 Of course i am, also nervous because i want to be a great Dad and i have no clue.So that's why i have been watching videos and taking notes😊
@@adventuresofsven2314 my advice is just go with the flow and fellow your heart and it will all fall into place Hun :)
I'm 18 weeks pregnant. Second time Momma. I found this video super helpful because after 2 years of not buying newborn stuff, I feel out of the loop on the new products out there. Thank you very much! Your baby girl is so beautiful! I've been watching your videos for years, its so wonderful to see your family growing.
Newborn must haves for me is simple diapers, wipes a binky and onesies. I'm pretty simple in the small stage lol
Brittnie Blankenship & swaddle blankets!
Same here, didn’t really use onesies though - I just made sure I had receiving blankets/musulin (I think that’s how it’s spelt) blankets and a fleece blanket.
You can cancel wipes with water and soap
Swings are must haves for sure.
The onesies that have the fold over sleeves are number one for me because then she cant scratch her face
I think that's a bit fastidious. I mean sure if you are literally only going to be either holding your baby or having then in their bassinet (another must have, somewhere to sleep) but most parents want to be able to put their baby someone safe, comforting and stimulating for them while they get a chance to eat, nap, shower etc. Also how are feeding your baby? You need bottles, a way to sterilize them even if you breast feed you likely need some equipment to assist with that. How do you bath your baby? No baby bath? No even anything in the sink to help you support them? What do they sleep in? Just a onesie?? No swaddle? No sleep bag?
your voice is so soothing, lol hope that's not weird!
Michaela Kathleen I said the same thing! It’s like she was just made to be such a sweet, gentle loving mom..
Yes!!!!!! Her voice is so soothing!!!
Right like a teacher!! I love it too
Jasmine Gray look into asmr
I was thinking the same thing hahahaha
A little correction to something I said in this video. I accidentally said “One of my boys wanted to be swaddled until 9 months old...” I meant to say “9 WEEKS!” The AAP doesn’t recommend swaddling past 8 weeks old. Also, our Dockatot is never used with the baby unattended. For more safe sleep guidelines from the AAP please follow the link in the description box! Though we don’t follow the guidelines PERFECTLY we have followed up with our pediatrician and have discussed our children’s sleeping arrangements with him. We always urge our audience to seek the council of medical professional if they have any questions.
This is super important as babies can start to roll at 8 weeks and if they are swaddled they may get stuck in a dangerous position. Thanks so much for clarifying!!
My son is 3 months and rolls over in his sleep and I swaddle him every night. During the night he frees his arms and only his bottom half is swaddled this helps him from throwing the blanket on his face and keeps him warm. Btw every in the home checks on him in the middle of the night since he does roll over. I try my best to turn him facing up every time I wake up.
Yup
you sound so happy when you talk about your kids :D it really makes me wanna become a mommy myself :)
I'm a first time mom trying to get a list going of things the baby will need & this video helped a lot! Thank you!
Absolutely LOVE that you talked about a regret and a must have that fell into the same category. So often I see someone say “I didn’t like this swing” or “i regret getting this swaddle” but don’t go on to say ones they found beneficial to have. So thank you!
My sister is pregnant with her first child, I just came across your video and I must say your voice is so calming and soothing. Great video, thank you.
I cannot wait for that breastfeeding must haves video!!!
I had captions on and the video started with "let's talk about my newborn mustache" hahahahaha
Hahaha 😂😂😂
I so agree on the prefold cloth diapers. We bought prefolds thinking we'd use them as nappies, but ended up using them for everything else instead, and had to buy twice as many in order to not "run out" between washes. We use them for burping, under babys head when sleeping and breastfeeding (in case of spilling), when changing nappies etc. They are soft, they hold a lot of moisture so don't leak through and can handle "accidents" on the changing table very well! I have no idea how other parents survive without prefolds. I have gotten around to using them as nappies also! Love, love, love prefolds.
I'm going on 7 months and just now buying and acquiring things for the baby with a baby shower scheduled just a month before my due date! Hours of research and reviews plus these kinds of videos have helped me a ton!!!
I'm a first time dad so this is awsome my wife 7 weeks but knowing me I like to find every info so our baby can have a smooth ride here I really enjoy your videos 💯💪🏾
So turns out, I used to watch your twin pregnancy videos on your other channel years ago. This video popped up and I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out why you seemed so familiar. I got so excited once I figured it out and that you still make videos! 💕
Ok is nobody going to mention how sweet and soothing her voice is?? I love this video so much.
🚼💝
I’m prego with baby number 5 and my hubby is one of those people that moves around in his sleep a lot so I liked the cosleeper with all my babies and the baby was right next to me the trick is to make sure baby is comfortable every baby is different but this video has been great for ideas thank you
Dear Natalie,
This is the first time I saw your video and I love the way you explain the products and it's utility. Thanks. Lots of Love!!
I couldn't have enough receiving blankets! I agree, not good for swaddling but I used them as towels, burp cloths, changing pad...
Being a new father I have been watching quite a few of these videos. I think it’s funny that all of your regrettable purchases are all things my son loves and has no issues with. Aside from the swing. We have a different swing. I do thank you for your insight though and appreciated your opinions. Thank you.
Sooooo cute how baby was crying and then BAM swaddled and calm!! ❤️❤️❤️
I am literally watching this and updating my amazon registry!. Thank you
Our lil man is 4 months. I’m still taking tips! Thanks for everything! Love your channel & energy!
I'm 11 weeks pregnant and this is my first child and thankful for these videos
This has to be the most honest and practical must have video I've seen, and I've spent countless hours watching videos because as let's face it... It is all about brands and buying high dollar baby crap that most of us can't afford. Thanks for being real 🤗
I feel like you are us!! We have had the same experience with the Mamaroo, swaddle blankets and the Wubbanub! Our newborn hates the Mamaroo and the Wubbanub animal, while so cute, gets in the way! Love your videos! We have 13 year old twin boys and there are so many new things out there!!
I agree with EVERYTHING you said. 1 kid loved the mama roo, the 2nd hated it 😭
New subscriber here
Watching this 3 years after you posted and getting so broody seeing baby Hailey! She’s gotten so big now. Love your videos & your family! 💛
About to have my baby boy here in 2.5 weeks and I’m so thankful I came across your video! Makes me so much happier with the items I have that will be useful! :)
Thank you, Natalie! This is very helpful; shopping for our first baby now :)
You're so beautiful and have the sweetest and most genuine and positive vibe
Thanks for being very transparent about sponsors and PR products, very refreshing to see!
I've been looking for someone who is calm and relaxed while talking in their videos to calm me down before bed, and you are so wonderfully perfect!!! Please keep these videos up! I've got about seven more months left but can't wait for baby :)
I'm a 20-year-old girl who doesn't even have a boyfriend but have been watching all of your weekly vlogs, pregnancy updates and mommy videos. And I actually enjoy them a lot! You are such a beautiful woman of God Nat! Someone I look up to in so many ways! Love you and your sweet family! ❤💙💚💛💜
I would be so happy if you see my comment and reply 😚
Graco swings are the best..in my opinion.
I'm the Grandma..old school swings were crank.. these are just wonderful.. the plug in option is the best.
Agreed with the Graco swing!
This video is so refreshing! Im expecting my second and totally agree with you on all the regrets and multipurpose items. So many people on here say you need all these fancy things and while a couple are nice you definitely don’t use half of it. Thanks again for the tips!
I’m 37 weeks 4 days and nesting has kicked in HARD. I’m watching this in the background as I’m double checking the nursery and all of the baby purchases. This video has been so helpful thank you.
Your voice is literally so soothing lol but great video especially since my baby is due next week and trying to get as much info as possible. Skipped purchasing a lot of "fancy" items. The one I did splurge on was the halo bassinett since it was recommended to me since I'm having a c section. We'll see how it goes. Love the idea about the cloth diapers and have added those to my list. Never would have thought of it so thank you!
Awesome list, I'm with you on things that will grow with baby, you sold you me on the blooming bath, def buying one soon. 🙂 I love my "Brest friend" nursing pillow, great for nursing, bottle feeding, nap time after feeding when you just want to cuddle and watch baby. My son just loves that pillow!
This is so helpful! Great for new moms to be that just want to buy the most expensive things because we think its the best for our baby! Thank you!
thank you so much! I love that you include things that worked and didn't work in each section!
Your voice is so soothing I fell asleep
Rewatching before my twin girls get here next week. 🤗 I only have two outfits each for my girls. The rest is all sleepers. 💕
This is super helpful! We're expecting our first baby and it's so nice to hear what's really not necessary since there's so much out there!
OMG I'm so glad I've watched this video! I'm just on the beginning of buying stuff for my son. I'm 6 months pregnant.
We can definitely help with one of the must haves! Great Video.
this was very helpful before we had our twins. Thanks for sharing
My mom just had a new newborn 3 days old and I told her about your awesome channel and she found this video really helpful!😊
First video I've watched of yours! I am 32 weeks. I've spent a LOT of time as a nanny/mothers helper so I knew there was loads of stuff I would never ever use -- as I am getting closer I am ticking off items of my list, and I really enjoyed your list and was SO SO happy to see many of the items I DID register for on your list of Loves!!! :) Happt to have found ya.
Thanks. New dad here. Our son was born on the 1st at almost 4 A.M. Awesome information.
Congratulations!!! 💙
she didnot say you will regret..She talk about herself what she regret..Some items works for others but some didnot..Different people have different experiment and views...🙂🙂
Natalie.. you are just such a bright light. I hope your feeling better.
Yes I used some of these items as well, those first three months go by so fast! but anything that will make our lives easier is a must have essential in my mind! thank you for sharing these
I'm about to turn 16 soon and I found out on December that I'm pregnant I'm nearly 3 months along now and honestly it's saving my life, it's like now I have a reason to live on and I'm really excited to meet my little one x
Congrats! I'm 3 months right now too❤❤
I also found out in December (: Due August 14!
I’m expecting my first boy in February and let me tell you I live for these mommy vlogs😩❤️
Me too! Baby boy in February!
Awwww congrats ladies.
👣💜👣❤👣
Is he here now?
This was SO helpful. I'm having my first baby in just over a month and this helped me to remember the things that I am still missing. It's so hard to keep track and make sure I have everything I need! I just ordered a set of the silky soft swaddles from Aden and Anais and I'm feeling more prepared. :)
Started watching you before we were even thinking about trying and now I’m back because I’m 15 weeks! ❤️
You are so pleasant!! Glad I found your channel 😊
I'm definitely one of those people that follow the bang for your buck motto! I am all about saving money and I loved this video. I came across it when I binged watched so many baby must haves (can you tell I'm a first time mom?) haha. I'll be due in a few months!
kellyletv Congrats!
Most regrets are on my shopping list! I’m sooo glad I watched this video ❤️😂
Thanks so much for making this video! !! I'm putting together a list of things I need for my first baby and this helps so much. The simpler the better for me!
Your white piano in the background is so pretty!
Is that wht that is? I was trying to figure it out😅
Thank you so much!!! This is very helpful info! I'm pregnant with my first child and want to make sure we have everything prepared for baby when he/she arrives!
Amen on the sleepers! That's literally all my baby wore the first couple months; I had a few fancy things but there was never an occasion for them. I was happy to have a Halo Sleepsack Swaddle for her because it made middle of the night changes much easier and faster. I would recommend buying them secondhand because babies do grow out of them fast.
Oh my goodness your baby is sooooo cute. 😊 and she’s soooo calm, it amazes me.
Hailey looks so much like Weston! I can already tell they are going to have such a sweet father-daughter relationship!
Modest Dressing all babies are born looking like their fathers, but slowly start lookinf like their father
but still true
Modest Dressing...she has his long body length too.
Modest Dressing oh
I’m expecting and this was so helpful! I’ll definitely be purchasing a blooming bath, ☺️
The Velcro swaddles worked great for my little one (there are zipper transitional arms free ones as well that worked after he was about 6-10 weeks old). Also we loved the adenandanais burpy bibs( They are 360 cover every angle for my newborn with reflux). I also got a 2 in 1 swing but he also loved the Fisherprice rock n play (the vibrations are key to happiness for him).
Natalie, I stumbled upon your channel by complete accident when you posted a comparison of your two pregnancies. Immediately I adored...then as I have seen a few more I realized we have more in common. Christian and YL oils! Congrats on your sweet baby girl. I know a little late, but better late than never. Unfortunately I am not a mom, but love, love, love babies! So catching glimpses of babies just make me so happy. They are such a blessing and miracle.
The DockATot was a game changer for us!
The wubanub is great when babies get a little older and they can find their paci easily at night in their crib vs waking up screaming because they lost their paci. Also they're easy to find around the house and diaper bag 😊
Theresa Slater I was thinking yhe same, is more for when they are a little bit older and able to grab it themselves, plus they are so cute! I just bought 2 for my first baby, can't wait to meet her in July!
My son liked to hold it. The traditional pacifier didn’t work for us.
Same. My 6 month old just started liking this but wasn't interested when he was younger.
How do you wash them for the first time? Cause laundry detergent on the paci doesnt seem right.
You did a great job with this video. I love the dock-a-tot my mother and I were just speaking about co-sleepers today.
This is the first video I ever watched on your channel about a year ago while trying for our first baby. 1 year on and I am pregnant!! These types of videos are very helpful! 😊
This was sooooo helpful! I'm extremely similar on my ideal products functions and styles, so this is great to help me make my want/need list for my May baby 💕
I'm so glad you talked about the wubbanub pacifiers...I swear everyone on CZcams swears by them, but I just never really saw the hype! Love this truthful video. 💗
Such a good vid!
It’s a pleasure in hearing you speak. 🤗
Mommy Answer Lady here... just discovered your channel. Love to hear from new moms!
I have 5 kids and couldn't agree more on most the things you said. The only reason not all is I haven't used some of them. That bloomer baby bath I will be getting. I still have a new baby and she'd love it!! I haven't used my waste of space baby bath in a few kiddos. And the ones that did use it hardly did. Total waste of money and space!! The muslin swaddlers are my absolute favorite!!
Your voice is soothing
This has been so helpful! Answered so many of my questions as I put together my baby shower registry as a first time mom :) Thank you!!
I'm due this December and so glad you talked about the blooming bath! I've been wanting it vs the hard baby tubs and I agree that as long as you take care of it the right way, there's not a big issue with it at all. Now I'm definitely sold on having it on my registry ❣️ I've been watching your videos all week because I love listening to your voice and a lot of the things you say/mention go along the lines of the type of parent and person I want to be
I'm a grandmother and find today's must have items quite interesting.
I've seen a couple of vloggers using the Velcro swaddleds and they seem to work for them. However I so wish there had been giant muslin cloths when. Mine were babies. I didn't co sleep it I'm sure if I'd had a dockatot it would have been brilliant. One mom actually puts her one year old I. His cot in it so yes. Brilliant.
It's amazing seeing generational differences
Tracy Cook Definitely! Generational differences ARE interesting. What were YOUR newborn must have when you were a new mom? I'd love to know! :-)
Tracy Cook I'm interested in what your must haves were too!!
Natalie Bennett My must haves were Muslin squares that were used as burp clothes and every morning when I remade the Moses basket ( another must have) downstairs and the rocking cradle upstairs I put a fresh cloth folded across the top of the matress over the sheet in the theory that only that needed washing .
Washable breast pads
I used Cloth diapers and for those first few days I used the pre folded ones you used as burp cloths my American aunt sent them to me and wow they were great, later on I used them to make overnight diapers when they started sleeping through.
Almond oil for nipples
Oh I had a lovely fisher price mobile that played Brahms lullaby that was used from birth but only at nighttime bed time to get used to bed time
All four of mine including son wore long soft brush cotton nightdresses for the first four weeks and unless going out they wore Day and night so much easier than snaps in babygros
Think that's probably it so not to different today just tweaked from the olden days back in the 80's
Oh I had a baby bouncer that I doubled as an improvised uninvented play gym , I hung different items on it like ribbons and bells so that they could touch as they moved their arms
Tracy Cook I agree with you as far as the differences between the different generations and their must haves.
One of my must haves I don't hear about as much as I did when I was having babies is a gown for the baby to sleep in. I had many more gowns for my newborns than sleepers. They were so easy and easy access for changing the baby in the wee hours of the night.
One thing that hasn't changed is the double folded cloth diapers that I used for burp cloths etc.🌺
Generational differences are definitely interesting, even more so between 3 generations! I talked to my grandmother about it (she had children in the late 50s, early 60s) and she said “It’s crazy how many unnecessary items there are for babies these days... like carseats. We just stuck them in a bassinet and threw them in the back. We didn’t even have seatbelts”. 😂
The Aden ones are the best BUT if you worry about SIDS and You are a mom who wakes up every so often to check if the blanket is on their face you will be better off with the Velcro ones I personally used the Velcro ones with both my daughters they truly gave me a peace of mind especially at night when we both were sleeping I would use the Aden blankets more in the day time when I was awake and she was in my sight
that blooming bath thing looks perfect for the type of thing i am looking for! thank you for this video.
I 100% agree with almost all of the regrets- I love my doc a tot so much and before I had that i got a $670 co sleeper.... my son hated it but my cats love it. You are such a good mom and I totally love your family
I'm pregnant with my first. 32 weeks. Thanks for this video. The only thing I don't agree with is the Velcro swaddlers. I used to be a nanny and for the life of me...the mother or no amount of CZcams videos could teach me how to use swaddle blankets...I JUST DON'T GET IT!!! So, I just ordered some of Velcro swaddlers in various sizes just to make my life easier. Lol.
First time mom. These videos are so helpful. I was debating on the bath time tub. Thank so much it really helps narrow somethings down. May 2020!
So grateful for your video! It just helped me to set my baby's must haves list. You are gorgeous and soft speaking 💕💕
Omg your baby is soo adorable!😍
Thank you for the video! I just found out I'm 6 weeks and was nervous about gadgets because there are so many!
