Had mine a while now and things I think that make this fun. 1) razor sharp/ pointy setup compared to Audi/ Merc 2) Turning traction control off and learning to control the car 3) it’s speed, 140mph+ comes up super quickly It’s a seriously focused car but will cruise and doing the boring stuff. Last of the true RWD M cars 🙇🏻♂️
S WB perfectly summarised! Congrats on yours, they’re wonderful cars! 4) for me would be just how special they feel, enough exterior design work to truly separate them from other 4 series’, yet not OTT. Inside they’ve done a really good job of adding some luxury and lovely //M trinkets too. 😊
I love your enthusiasm and passion and I was in 2 minds to buy one of these. This vid swayed me but I got the M3 comp pack instead last week as needed 5 seats and 4 doors. Can't wait until the weather improves!

Ive only had around 2 weeks and I haven't had much of a a chance to give it some beans but I still it puts a smile on face just looking out the window at it in the morning! Enjoyed the last part of the video...hope to see another mate. Keep up the good work

James T I missed this initially James, that is so cool!!! I adored this car and cherished EVERY single drive! You’ll be pleased to know I also adhered to the pre-first service running in advice and always made sure the car was up to temp before driving it properly. 👍 Where abouts do you live?
CIRCUIT : DRIVER it was such a surprise! It’s great, I love it too. It’s so quick, yet actually relatively practical. I live in Worcestershire, so the roads in general aren’t quite as good, but Wales isn’t too far away. The only issue I’ve had with it is with the left brake light having condensation- I managed to get it fixed under the warranty, so it hasn’t been a problem really. What are you driving now?
James T oh I like the sound of a jaunt across to Wales to enjoy some of the roads there! Hope you get the light sorted, fingers crossed they replace without quibble. I had a change in financial circumstances and had to cut my cloth accordingly, so the M140i is my daily. I’ve kept hold of the fun older cars so still getting my fix of proper drivers cars, but I’d love to own another M3/4 down the line! 😊
CIRCUIT : DRIVER yeh I got the light fixed without any issues! Nice, they’re awesome cars. I had a 120d a few years ago (which obviously has a lot less performance than the 140i) but it was still so fun to drive. There was something pretty special about having a manual too
This is how things should be. Normal review . Normal people and their pride cars. I just like to see normal day to day things about M4s. Do not upgrade anything ! It is perfect as it is . Like God created man. Steroids and drugs will eventually harm man and possibly kill! Great vdo 👍🏽

TJ. N Haha! I’m a terror for modding, but this is leased and I wouldn’t mod a car I don’t own outright. Having driven it for a few months now I’m still not sure what I would mod if I could... 🤔
Biddy Boy sorry for the late reply, this diff is an important part of what makes it drive so well, these cars are so wonderful around the limits and arc around beautifully into oversteer. Even as a electronically manipulated diff it behaves really nicely and I’m sure the electrickery eaks our some additional grip that wouldn’t be there with a traditional clutch or geared diff. For impressions on what fitting an LSD did for my M140i there’s a video on the Quaife we fitted on the channel. 🙌
Ali D They’re OK as a sports seat, I sometimes struggle a little without lumbar support but found them alright. Not as comfy as non-M BMW seats, but more supportive laterally. 👍
Perfectly acceptable, it really is an excellent all round package given just how sharp it feels dynamically. That said, it's decidedly less comfortable than an equivalent non-M, on a longer journey my m140i was a nicer place to be.

American Dynos are much higher than European equivalents for all cars btw
