    I like this conversational review and think I agree. Very similar, might as well save yourself a few quid

    I have pair of 65t I'm retiring and I replaced them with the 4 Active just 2 days ago and really wondered if I made the right decisions. Glad I found this video! :D

  • @brandon_yl_is_busted_af9316

    You guys got right to the point and didn't beat around the bush, much appreciated. I much prefer youtube reviews to articles for earbuds since it seems reviewers tend to do more hands-on testing rather than just listing paper specs. Thanks for pointing out how the slightly higher numbers in the elite 7's didn't really benefit it that much in practice when it came to battery and call quality, that was a big deal. good vid fr.
    I read somewhere that the Elite 4's do not have the ability to customize the button press functions while the Elite 7's do. Any chance you could verify that? My old Elite Active 75t's would let me set them up for single tap pause, double tap skip track, and most significantly triple tap to cycle through ANC/HearThrough/Off which I really liked, not sure if I can do this on the Elite 4 though.

    Ended up getting the elite 7's for the same price as the 4's thanks to a day sale. Looking forward to testing them out on a run because my galaxy 2 buds fall out as soon as I start to sweat

      @@McDinkledorfM.D I love mine! They stay in my ear when I work out and go running, I love that I can connect two devices at once which my galaxy buds couldn't do, and the hear through is good.
      The ANC isnt as good as the buds bud its good enough. Only real negative I have about then is that they sometimes have connection issues, especially when I'm deep underground on the korean subway surrounded by a bunch of people it has trouble connecting. But if you don't usually use it in these areas it probably wont matter.

      Depends what you want it for for music waterproof and anc 4 are best..
      for Apple compatibility for ambient modes and music is good too but not as bassy but they also have a Better mic and are more expensive

    To whom it may concern: the Elite 7 does *_not_* support Spotify Tap whereas the Elite 4 does.

  • @Nicholas-rm2gp
    @Nicholas-rm2gp Před 2 lety +14

    Elite 4 does not support Apple's AAC codec where the Elite 7 does. This would be a sticking point for those who want the best possible sound on their Apple devices.

      @@bigGGyou Thanks for the constructive comment, but you're wrong, I do as do at least 9 others. The AAC codec is important as it relates to how the iPhone transmits audio to the Bluetooth device, so it is important if you care about the quality of your sound.

      Had to exchange two pairs of 7 in a row because left plug did not work even after multiple resets. Did not want to take chance on 3rd replacement and went with Elite 4 instead.

    It was my first time using earbuds. I bought the Jabra Elite 7 Active and what I realized was that because it seals my ear, I start hearing everything im my body like the vibrations of the footsteps when running. Although it has a good sound and everthing, that pump of every step in my head is very unconfortable. Is that normal with everyone? Any thoughts about that?

  • @TheSwayzeTrain
    @TheSwayzeTrain Před 2 lety +1

    I own Jabra 75ts, I realize these are a different model but shape wise all the buds have a similar form factor. My issue with Jabra buds is that without a locking tip of some sort they always seem to shake loose.
    Sound wise they are phenomenal and the ANC is great. I just don't like running in them or during KB training.... Basically I don't use them anymore. I use cheaper Soundcore buds or just train without music entirely.

  • @thatasianplayer
    @thatasianplayer Před 2 lety +4

    The Jabra Elite 4 has some extra features for Android users mainly Google Pair and APTX Codec(for better audio quality) these features are why I bought the Elite 4 over the Elite 7(both active and not).
    The Elite 7 is more feature packed in terms of personal controls but if you wish for convince and better sound quality(for higher quality files) go for the Elite 4. Google Pair is a convince but not a necessity (it is better then regular Bluetooth pairing though.)

    • @andreasm9102
      @andreasm9102 Před rokem

      Why Because it's a higher number? Jabra do not work like that.
      The 4 are much better not as many options on the app and the Mic is better on the 7 that's it.
      4 are waterproof, anc is much better on the 4 so bassier and better sound also aswell as being £40 less due to a charger box and 2 extra mics is ridiculous

      I bought the Beats Fit Pro first, and as someone with a smaller ear, they didn't stay in at all. Any jaw movement(talking, eating) or body movement, and they fell out in a few minutes. The grip tech on the Elite 7s made for a better fit even without the wingtip.
