Pride of the PRR Episode 6: Relations
Vložit
- čas přidán 10. 08. 2019
- After a few months, we're back in business. This episode explores the bitter rivalry between PRR and NYC, as well as a few neighboring railroads. At first I wasn't sure if I should add a few NYC locomotives as antagonists since I already have some CSX antagonists in Rails of Highland Valley, but then I decided to go for it, because the NS/CSX rivalry in the main series is barely anything next to PRR and NYC's rivalry. Plus it's hard to run a PRR-based series when there's no involvement from NYC. Enjoy. Disclaimer: I own nothing.

There's a bit of a historical inaccuracy regarding John: His real life model was exclusively assigned to the Peoria and Eastern, which was a NYC branch line, hence the small PE markings on his tender. He was scrapped in 1950 when the branch dieselized, but at the time I made this episode, I didn't know all that. When I found out, I decided to counter the error the best I could by saying he was usually on the PE.
OOOOOOOHHH. NOW I UNDERSTAND.
6:01 Everybody's... throttle is stuck, but in all seriousness, thanks for using another Eurobeat song! - Sid
This is a masterpiece!
Thanks!
The moment I've been waiting for. Nicely done as usual, Gordon.
Thanks Umit.
@@TheNWClassA1218 Btw, sorry for my stutter voice. I was recorded with a phone. I won't make the same mistake next time.
What a great episode! Well done Nicholas and keep up the good work.
Thank you Ash!
I don’t even need to watch the whole thing to know that this deserves a like.
Just sum up a quick review, my favourite Pride of the PRR episode (I know, I say that about almost every new episode).
Glad you enjoyed.
Nice Job Nicholas
When did the Pennsylvania Railroad acquired the Norfolk and Western?
11:22 music from There Goes a Tornado.
Completely random but any series with any unstoppable music just asks for episodes about cp ac4400cw 9777 and the other engines ( ik that takes place in the 1950s ) I mean u have done episodes in Canada so it wouldn’t be a stretch if u did a short about the locomotive from unstoppable. Besides that a brilliant Mater piece
Thanks. I considered doing something with Unstoppable, but I scrapped any ideas related to the subject matter.
RichmondCityRailfan thanks for the reply what I mean is when there talking about their experience being in the movie like having Chris pine jumping onto 9777 or the other locomotive that was used for 777 ( can’t remember the number ) or having 9777 crashing through the boxcar. Like do how you did tale of a j class but my much shorter only telling a experience not a entire life. Edit: being a engine going through a boxcar at 40 mph must really hurt.
I love eurobeat
Reminds me of Panhandle Rail Stories
Rails of Highland Valley has more in common with Panhandle Rail Stories than this series does.
10:29 did anyone catch that "mohawk that wouldn't quit" scene
I didn't honestly think too much about TMTWQ when implementing that scene, though now that you mention it, is similar. Don't get me wrong, I love that miniseries and I still watch it periodically.
Wow Nickolas this episode is so awesome. Why is Liliam built into a B&ORR F7 the whole time?
Thanks. Her real life model was built as one.
sweet
Thanks
Nice use of the. Music also let me know if you have any loud you'd like for me to do because I can still nice use of the. Music also let me know if you have any loud you'd like for me to do because I'm still open for any kind of collaboration
Thanks. Any "loud"??
Lines for ROHV Episode 22:
Mr. Long:
1: Jared! That’s a 250 word essay for bumping the train!
NS SD40 #3269:
1: Two weeks ago while switching in Asheville, my engineer talked about owning an Italian Carcano. It’s the same one Lee Harvey Oswald used to shoot JFK, minus the scope. It’s chambered for 6.5 ammunition…
Cool
Thanks Jake
Am I the only one who thinks that the F7 Carolina Foamer voiced sounds like an extremely squeaky Eddie Deezen?
Probably not.
2:16 Well you wouldn't be saying that when you're being sold for scrap
is the next episode going to be focused on the merger to form Penn Central? also if you want I'm open if you want me to voice anyone I already voice act for Rails of BNSF
That won't happen for a while. This series takes place in the 1950s. I'll let you know if I need you to voice.
Also, I see u hve bought the NYC S1b Niagara from K&L Trainz. Is this a new addition or was this already bought?
I had it for a while.
RichmondCityRailfan BTW, if ur gonna try voicing a character in Forbidden Trackage Part 2, the character roster is full. Sorry if u had 2 hear dat 🙁
Perfect
Thanks
niice
Thanks.
You'd think that Frank would be able to stop the F7s due to his weight and size.
Maybe his brakes weren't on all the way.
And why the PRR just disappeared?
Ronnie Pilla The Lightning McQueen Railfan if your talking about how it went out then your answer is bankruptcy. The long answer is basically when the highways where being made they (from what I’ve heard) where taxing the railroads to Help built them. Then railroads like the NYC, PRR, eventually RDG, and some more I can’t remember. Anyways they all got bankrupt and eventually just became conrail and then NS and CSX.
I understood now Narrow Gauge Studios. Ans by the way, I’m going to subscribe you now.
Ronnie Pilla The Lightning McQueen Railfan oh yeah also I forgot to mention that nyc and PRR merged into pencentral and then conrail
@@Reading3412Studios Penn Central did it become Conroe but only after it showed that it would end up killing most of the Eastern coasts rail network due to very neglected track outdated equipment and outdated Rolling Stock along with outdated maintenance facilities
Reminds me of The Full Bucketniers episode 1
Yup.
Whoever voiced the Hudson sounds like a Green Frog Productions narrator
Oh yeah...
this reminds of the riavrly bettwen luke and utz, and the fbl series competition betwwen Up and SP.
Yeah, I kinda used that as an inspiration.
Cool! I remember when I auditioned for this series...
Thanks!
RichmondCityRailfan is there any trains I can voice?
@@SouthernRaiIs1186 Yeah, I'll let you know.
RichmondCityRailfan ok I have always liked this channel and wished I was on it
At least it’s good to know that not all CSX and NS diesels share the rivalry; UNLIKE SOME DIESELS (I’m lookin at u Dave , Dummy (Larry), Tannen, and Adumb)
Yeah, a lot of CSX engines in this series are good/neutral.
But sometimes diesel locomotives get scrap to
Yeah, when they become outdated.
@@TheNWClassA1218 exactly
Great! Quick question, when do I get a voice audition?
Thanks! Soon.
I'm already seeing more chemistry between Elaine and Lillian than Jake Paul and Tanna.
Any characters for me for next episode?
Maybe.
My best part when Mr. Edwards told Nick the story back in old years. Nice job
@@bryanschlippjr4894 Thank you.
Is there any engines you need voiced? I would really want to voice for a popular CZcamsr
Here are two you can do for the next episode (role is a PRR H-12-44):
1: No offense Nick, but do you always have to be a jerk when you meet new diesels? You were one around Bob, Howard, George, myself, even to Matthew despite him being a steam engine.
2: No need to get paranoid.
RichmondCityRailfan when do you need it done by?
@@SouthernRaiIs1186 Sorry, CZcams never sent me a notification about this reply. You can do them whenever. You don't have to do them right now, but if you did, I'd take them.
RichmondCityRailfan ok i haven’t done it yet
@@SouthernRaiIs1186 Do you think you can get them done by October 9th?
