This is such a legendary song. While it's tempting to skip straight to the drum break, the song really deserves to be experienced in its entirety. The vibe is amazing and the buildup is just incredible. This is one of few songs I would possibly consider to be perfect. Had Phil Collins never written another song after this one, his legend would have already been cemented.

This is what was playing in Mike Tyson's head when walking towards the ring to fight Trevor Berbick and win the Heavyweight belt.
He wrote it in his autobiography where he requested this song to be his entrance music but they picked something else, so Mike drowned every noise out and played this song in his head.
The fight where Sylvester Stallone was also present?
why would he be thinking of this song and want it to be his ring music only for it to be denied. ???
Did he know something we didn't know until after this fight ???
Sounds like a song you would pick if you knew you were going to lose for sure 100%. Also being denied the song when your heavyweight champ of the world, worlds youngest heavyweight champ, one of boxings biggest draws ever, etcetera ?¿?
Also the night he had before the fight ??? kind of night you would have if you knew you were scheduled to lose ...
Sorry, I love iron mike and I totally fanboy for him and that boxing era. .. . .. HOWEVER :
I also hardcore support the *"THEORY"* that boxing is 100% fixed at least 33% of the time !¡! [ also, even though it is all just personal observation and possibly huge cognitive bias - I have had sports bets with myself on a few of the biggest fights in recent memory and called the outcome before it happened.. . I have also see in hindsight "proof / indicators" [ for those in the know who know what to look for ] of who was supposed to win [ in fights I didn't pay attention to ]
idk. . . .love iron mike.. . but still .. . YEAH !
@@Renwoxing13 i mean its a cool ass song, and its a calming song about anticipation, he can feel his victory coming in the air that night because of his confidence. I grew up with this song, and I do need to confess that I've always admired Phil Collins for the fact of being such a talented musician, whose songs have set the standard in the last 50 years (from his beginnings with Genesis, up to the present time as a soloist) and his skills to both sing and play several instruments, have attributed him the merit of becoming one of the best musicians the world has ever known.
