@@WildCampingIreland I’ve never tried those, the Montane Super Terra are pretty good too! Doing outdoor stuff in Ireland, I’ve always gone for quick drying rather than water resistance.
I prefer the Helikon-Tex for the pocket placements and higher back, but I still really like the Vida Pros. I do prefer the G1000 material. Also the helikon-tex only comes in a limited inseam length, they're a bit long for me at 5'8".
Interesting outdoor apparel, Mark. Need to get a closer look at those trousers to jog me in the direction of either or both brands. Serious amount of pocket storage, though. Christmas wish list goodies 🤔😉
Hey Rae 👊 decent treads they are 💪 either pair will do the job for woodland and hiking adventures. I prefer the colour of the pilgrim pants though 🤷♂️🙃😂🍀
. Can i ask a question .is there any insulating layer or fleece liner in these ? I just bought a pair of trousers that are prob going to be too warm . Dying to try them out in the cold . . Its getting frosty already . Mad to think it was 20 something degrees last week
Nice video Mark 👍
Thanks dude 👊👍🍀
Vidda pros are brilliant trousers.
Yeah they are decent pants , mind you those pilgrim pants are double hard 💪👍🍀

You should link websites for the gear mark, might be worth your while.
The Wandering Irishman has introduced me to your channel, glad he did, would love to see you do a collab with him, that would be wonderful.
Yeah maybe I could do a wild camp with them 👊👍🍀

Yeah the G1000 material is pretty soft, both are great for bush craft and stuff 👍👊🍀

@@WildCampingIreland will open that piggy-bank account.
@WildCampingIreland Also, wondering if there is a suitable spray on wax from a can for waterproofing, like the one for tents?
Not sure dude , I’m going with the tried and tested version 👌👊
Hey Mark, would you do a video on waxing the trousers ? Id like to know what to use and how to do it. Cheers Noel
I was thinking the very same thing this morning Noel 😃😅 coming soon 👊👍🍀
@@WildCampingIreland cheers Mark
Handy to know Mark. You do need something tough. I've put a knife through a few pairs of trousers camping. Fortunately not though my skin.
😂🤣😂 thankfully no blood 👌👍🍀
Howdy Pilgrim ~ Put yer pants back on lololol

Hey Owen 👊 no fleece layers though both have double layers on the knees and seat. I’d recommend either of them 👌👊🍀
