- A cold and windy April day is one of the toughest days of the year to catch sheepshead inshore. I feel like the full moon provided a good solunar fish bite on this day. Dropping crabs or urchins at the bridge is more fun than sticking a nail in your foot. Get out there and be somebody!

Fresh bait matters. Catch Mud Crabs under "stuff", below the high tide line (Wear Gloves, oyster cuts are nasty). The purple crabs with spots and striped legs are stone crabs and are illegal to possess.

Man, we fished that bridge Thursday and all we got were sea bass. I gotta get with you one time when we're down. We NEVER catch anything worthwhile at that bridge. Used urchins and crabs too.
Not easy this time of year. I waited 20 minutes between bites and missed a bunch. Fishing will pick up soon.
@@offkilterfishing We got 6 to bring home to Md with us. We were down in February and got a few black drum to bring back. The bite on urchins is very strange. We've fished that bridge 3 times and nothing but BSB.

Any tips on tying off at the bridges? I don’t want to sound ignorant but it’s tough getting a good line around some of the columns
