Understand that oblicon is in the concept of an agreement between two consenting adults. To make it easier, think of it as a BF-GF relationship. Each has their obligations, arguments and how they settle them.

It all boils down to a promise and whether that promise is broken or whether one can go to court to enforce that promise.

When the debtor has a choice on how to fulfill or comply with the obligation. The choice of one of the alternatives, eliminates the others.
Hello Dean! In a car accident, yung nabunggo po yung active and yung nakabunggo naman po yung passive, prestation po ba yung pinromise ng nakabunggo na babayaran ang hospital bills? what will be the juridical tie po? Salamat Dean!
The juridical tie come from the negligence or tort.

Depends on where the error was made. Usually mutual errors cancels each other out.
