이번주 히어로는 단연 윌~~~이 사나이는 목숨이 뭔지도 모르고 적진에 뛰어든다. 그냥 동물이다. 존경 그 자체
Whoa! Wil moved like water-- so fast and fluid. He shot and moved so quickly, he didnt give the opponents time to process and react😮 He talks a lot about the practical importance of being in motion, shooting in motion, speed and surprise--that was shown really well in this mission. As a viewer, it was really fun to watch!
As for UDT/UDU, the star is Jung Jong-Hyyun. This kid seems like a really talented all-around soldier. He saved the IBS from going in the wrong direction. He instructed his team on cqb methods. He has great instincts and shooting. He seems like the de facto leader of UDT.
For those who don’t understand
So the mission time for each team is 13:23 for USSFx707 and 12:52 for UDTxUDU. But the penalty rule is, they will add 60 second to your time if you get shot. So USSF Will got shot 1x and UDU member got shot 2x. So add it all together, USSFx707 14:23 and UDTxUDU 14:52 . That how they win. Hope that explains it.

각 부대에 비해 대항군이 너무 허술한 거 같아요. 진짜 대항군처럼 해 주시면 어떨까요? 예를 들어 참여하지 않는 모든 대원들을 전체 대항군으로 하면 더 박진감이 넘칠 것 같아요. 프로에 나왔는데 참여 못하면 서운하기도 하고 각 부대원들이 대항군을 하면 더 잘 하실 것 같아요.
그리고 데스매치는 타이어 뒤집기 이런 힘만 써야하는 거 말고 좀 더 부대의 전략과 전술을 시청자들이 볼 수 있는 미션들을 개발해 주셨으면 합니다. 대원들이 다칠까 염려가 됩니다. 모두 수고 많으셨고 강철 부대 좋아하는 시청자입니다.
대항군이 제대로 훈련받지 않은 테러범들이면 딱 적당한거 같습니다. 만약 훈련된 정규군이거나 특수부대였으면 애초에 저런식으로 정면돌파 안하고 공습으로 제거했겠죠. 데스매치 관련은 동의합니다.. 너무 부상 가능성이 커 보여요.
실제 테러범들이 훈련되지 않은 경우가 많아서 큰 차이는 없을 것 같아요.
각팀에서 상대방에 대항군 한명 차출 했으니 이것만으로도 충분했을듯요.
12 year Green Beret here checking in on another great episode! Seeing as I've gotten a few ppl interested in my commentary I figured I'd keep the ball rolling! First off, a huge congrats to the USSF/707 alliance! As I said last week, were I a betting man, I'd put money on them to win it. Also love to see my brother Will go beast mode out there! You did all of us in the Legion proud, brother! So anyway, here are some thoughts on what went down!
- Kaz mentioning that he wanted 707 to take point on the op was very much a thing that we do. SEALs, Green Berets, Force Recon - we do counter terrorism, but a good chunk of our job also involves training and allowing local forces to take point on operations. Locals are familiar with the environment, combat culture of the enemy, language (notice how the add-on mission was announced in Korean), we're also extremely skilled as Ian pointed out in reacting to our partner forces so we don't need to take point. With that being said, I loved how Will took charge and it's very much a Green Beret mentality. Quick, controlled, violent.
- That compound was insane! I've gone through a few large compounds while deployed as well, but nothing quite that big and certainly never with only a 5 man team. Green Beret detachments (what we call our teams) are made up of 12 operators and we're normally working alongside another detachment. Everything you saw, with 707 leader going by himself to get the map, Will and his 707 taking the bomb and Ian and his 707 counterpart going off to rescue - those things are usually a 4-5 man job. So massive props for accomplishing all of that with a very small element. I can't stress how impressive it was for both UDT and 707 leader to climb that ladder, breach that room solo and take out those two tangos. The worst feeling is going by yourself, but they handled it masterfully, especially the 707 leader.
- The OPFOR (bad guys) have got to be by far, the worst OPFOR I've witnessed in my 15 year career. They couldn't shoot, almost never went for cover and there was even one who flat out gave away his position against UDT/UDU. This guy literally saw them, hid behind a corner and blind fired, giving away his position. Even my fiancee who knows very little about combat was scratching her head lol..
PART 1 (sorry I've got a lot to say lol..)

- I totally called Jeff being the OPFOR last week and he did an incredible job. His opening shot was the difference in the operation. I knew he'd land it too! Seeing as both OPFOR were positioned in the same spot it looks like they didn't have a choice in what they could do other than being a sentry. There was a massive difference in experience and skill between Jeff and the UDU operator. Jeff had sights on the door the entire time and took that clean opening shot and from there would lay down bursts to keep the other team out of the door. The fact that UDU was so happy to get Jeff, the arrogance lol.. Careful what you wish for! The UDU OPFOR just seemed scared. He reacted how someone with little combat experience would've reacted, which is very disappointing to see.
You can really tell the gap in experience between Will who's likely conducted hundreds of operations compared to the UDT/UDU operators. When we breach, it's quick and it's violent. We also trust our gear and the fact that we're going to be quicker on the trigger than you. I'll tell you right now, I've taken at least a half dozen rounds to my chest plates over my career. Mostly through breaching. Firefights can be messy, especially in CQB. You're going to get shot, just make sure you're shot in the right place. It's not cocky, it's a fact and Will showcased that. He came into that room with the UDU operator as we're trained to - gun up and ready to blast some bad guys. The only exception to that is if he had 3 other Green Berets stacked behind him, taking all angles beyond the door, not one OPFOR or the UDU operator would've gotten a shot off. We overwhelm our enemies and they'd be dead before they realized what was happening. I did expect the UDU OPFOR to put up a bigger fight though.. It tells me he panicked and wasn't expecting the violence in which Will entered the room. I mean, that's a normal reaction for someone untrained, but not a good sign if you're a SOF operator... Ian also mentioned on the first episode that from his experience UDT operators are scared and I'm not gonna lie - their delayed breach into the room with Jeff showed that. They seemed very indecisive. Like, ok it's not fun fighting someone who's trained, but it took them way too long to man up and breach. Don't get me wrong, UDT/UDU did well, but that was not a good look and were they doing an exercise op that I've been part of and or designed, they'd be dead.
- I'd say the standout operators for me would be Will taking charge the way he did. People will remember the breach on the bomb room, but he did a lot of little things too. When 707 leader was climbing, he was directing the defense, had some great call outs, just showing us he's a great combat leader.
707 leader was incredible too! Definition of calm and collected. The way he entered the map room by himself was textbook, but executed at a master level.
The young UDT operator too. I forget all of their names so please forgive me, but that boy can fight. He was quick to react, solid call outs throughout the mission, thought outside the box on a number of his engagements, flanking and such. Just a reliable operator to have. He'd make an outstanding Green Beret given the proper training.
PART 2 (last part coming up...)
My fiancee asked me a few times if the operation felt realistic and in some ways it did, but there was also a lot of tactics and reckless actions taken by the operators from both teams due in large part to the fact that their only penalty was 60 seconds added to their time. In training ops I've done if someone gets shot, depending on where they were hit, you've got to carry your wounded man out. I'll tell you carrying a 200+ lbs operator, while you're rocking 50+ lbs of gear yourself, it's no picnic lol.. MILES gear is cool and all, but it's also not accurate of a potential combat wound. I'll tell you right now those OPFOR guys might've only registered 3 official hits on both teams, but if they were using SIM rounds or if this was a real op, a lot of these guys would be going home in caskets. Leg wounds, arm wounds, these places aren't covered by MILES gear, but you better believe having 7.62 fly through your arm or leg is going to slow you down. I've even seen a young soldier die from a shoulder wound. Poor kid took a hit in the arm and went into shock. SIM rounds don't really make for great television too and you'd have to have an evaluator right next to the fight who's also at risk of getting shot to announce "hey you've been hit in the arm, you're now one handed" etc. sooo yeah it's gonna be MILES gear for television purposes.
It was still a great episode to watch though. Both teams did well although I'll say UDU appeared to be the weakest in my opinion, especially their OPFOR. Man, I couldn't believe how quick he was dropped... I expect UDT to win the death match and hopefully redeem themselves in the semifinal. Between the teams that are left I'd put my money on USSF, but 707 proved to be very capable as well. HID is a bit of a wildcard. They remind me of a CIA tactical team, but since we haven't really seen them in action other than the maritime op, where I personally thought they did horribly, granted they're not a water trained unit so I can't fault them for that. I feel like HID will either really impress me with their land capabilities or they'll leave me disappointed like UDU did. Guess we'll have to wait and see! I'm excited to see what the next operation brings us!
@@kevinkim6494 haha pretty much 😅 although I suppose in their defense it’s not easy to shoot with those masks on. Since this was filmed during the summer, they were probably getting fogged up too. Still, definitely the worst performing OPFOR I’ve witnessed and I’ve seen some pretty bad groups in my career lol
Just wanted to go back to that final breach on the “boss room” by USSF/707. Will will get a lot of credit for taking point on that breach, but 707 was right behind him. That was some impressive unspoken teamwork there. 707 operator came in, weapon up, where Will wasn’t and started sending rounds. Not a textbook breach and clear since there was a bit of a gap between Will and the rest of the team, but pretty damn close

참가자는 군인 신분이 아니고, 강철부대는 채널A의 예능방송이고, 컨텐츠가 밀리터리인 겁니다.
저 정도로 다친 거면 방송사고 레벨이고요.
방송의 테두리 밖으로 나가야 될 정도의 부상이면 조치하는게 당연한거지, 연애프로그램 출연자들에게 프로포즈 해놓고 왜 혼인신고 안하냐고 따지는 것과 비슷하게 보이네요.

21:53, 22:07, 28:22, 32:55, 34:53, 37:25, 39:25, 39:33, 41:40, 44:22, 1:15:15 1:16:17, 대항군 너무 유치한 수준이라 어이없고 707 한명 부상으로 결승선에 다 같이 들어오지 못했는데 그런건 아무런 패널티도 없고 … 진짜 제작진 가지가지 하는건 알겠는데 근데 이 여자분 대체 누구임? 왜 데려다 놨음? 목소리가 앙칼져서 보다가도 흐름이 끊겨 갑자기 볼 맛 뚝 떨어짐.저 위에 나열한 시간 횟수보다도 앙칼진 목소리가 꽤 많은데 빨리돌려 찾다보니 다 찾지 못했음. 암튼 담엔 목소리가 너무 앙칼지지 않는 아이돌 혹은 연예인들 부탁드림.

그렇게 이번 상황이 안타까우시다면 왜 해상작전때 UDT는 부서진 패달도 새로 교체 해주고 키 박스 통째로 수면 위로 갖고올라오고 IBS를 선착 지점보다 더 떨어진 곳으로 이동 허가 시켜줬어요?? 이것도 따지면 USSF에게 불공평한 거 아닌가요? 그 와중에 꼼수를 부린 UDT상대로 정정 당당하게 이긴 USSF가 매우 존경스럽습니디.

미군 특수부대 CQB 하는거 참관구경 해본적 있습니다. 3초안에 각 객실 진입하여 들어가는데 눈이 못쫓아갈정도로 전광석화이더군요. 윌이 총 한방 안밎는다에 제 손모가지 겁니다. 실제 진입하는거 보면 정말 엄청 빠르고 상상을 초월합니다. 적이 방아쇠 당길 그 찰나의 시간도 안줍니다. 입이 진짜 안 다물어집니다. 혹시 강철부대 승부 조작을 한다고 하여도 국민들이 미군 그린베레 네이비씰 실사 작전을 보는것만으로도 대단한거고 행운입니다. UDT/UDU 도 훌륭했지만 산개형이 사실 피해가 많이 난다고 합니다. 스네이크 대대형으로 빠르게 침투하는게 대테러 실제 효과라고 합니다

I've been a fan since season 1 but I really hope they can consider adding at least English subtitles for the episodes...it's really hard to understand as I only understand bits and pieces. 😢
최소한 특수부대 대항군들은 자유도를 더 주는게 맞다고 봅니다. 프로그램을 보면 일반 대항군들은 짜여진 각본에 의한 타이밍에서 액션을 하는 것이 확실한데, 특수부대 대항군 역시 짜여진 각본에 의해서 제한된 공간에서만 움직인다면 일반 대항군과 다른 점이 무엇일까요? 특수부대 대항군은 스스로 생각하고 움직여야 상대편을 견재하는 결정적인 역할을 할 수 있다고 봅니다.

Hi, 12 year Green Beret here. That’s a good point, but even with the limited mobility of the main OPFOR (Jeff/the UDU operator) you could still see a vast difference in skill and experience between the two.
Jeff kept sustained fire on the door, preventing UDT/UDU from breaching. He also made himself smaller by utilizing the cover. There was also fear in the UDT/UDU operators. They were slow and indecisive on that final breach.
Compare that to USSF/707 breach. Will ran right in there and right behind him was 707. It was textbook breach and clear. Quick, controlled, violent. A truly impressive display of unspoken teamwork. That’s experience and muscle memory on display from USSF/707. UDU operator showed his inexperience. He was scared and slow to react and was quickly beaten. He reacted like someone who’s never been shot at, which is very disappointing to see from a SOF operator.

Agreed. 여전사, 탈북 군인 출신, 외국인 군인 출신, 예비역 방위, 공익, 상근, 고의 의심적 병역미필자 (컴퓨터 배틀 게임 탑티어들) 등등 대항군으로 나오길 내년에 말이죠

총상 갯수로 승패가 결정되는데, 부상으로 한명 빠지면 총 맞을 경우의
수가 줄어드는 겁니다. 그리고 구급차를 부르고 도착해서 환자를 싣고 후송할때 작전이 일시 중단된거 같은데.. 후송 과정에 소요된 시간을 스탑와치로 정확히 계산해서 뺀건지 의문.. 30초 차이로 승패가 갈렸는데..
총 맞을 사람이 줄어들기도 하지만 커버해줄 인원도 줄어들어서, 정예부대원 한명 줄어드는게 더 치명적일거 같습니다. 제작진이 부대원 부상을 미처 생각하지 못한거 같아, 미션 시간을 어떻게 처리한건지는 모르겠지만요

this is so like season 1 for UDT. 정종현 got nervous and lost the shooting game when he's good at it LOL AND then UDT played almost every deathmatch again lol i hope from this point on is victory for UDT!! 이한준 is injured yet he never showed and is always doing his best. 김경백 has finally shown his cool side with his leadership during the match against USSFx707. Really a drill master!! 이정준 too has shown his strength and initiative. And 정종현 didn't disappoint once again. He was so cool during the match, i can't get over it. They are all so cool. UDT 잘 했어요!!! 화이팅!!

진짜 멋있다
결승점에 마지막 팀원이 들어온 시간이 미션 완료시간이라했는데 전원 들어오지 못한 팀은 미션 실패이지요. 포로 구출 못하고 한명 빠지고 들어오면 미션 실패잖아요. 한명이 빠진 게 큰 패널티라 하는데 그게 패널티가 되려면 부장자 이송시간도 카운트를 해야지요. 이전 우승팀을 빼려는 건지 707이나 미군을 올리고 싶은 건지 도저히 이해되지 않는 결과입니다. 게임을 이기기 위해 무식하게 돌진하는 윌을 영웅만들고 타임어택 강조하던 연합군이 시간도 더 늦었는데 더 빨랐던 것처럼 편집한 것도 그렇고... 이쯤되면 UDU 총기에만 문제가 있어 총상 두 발 생긴 것 조차 의심이 가네요. 참고로 저는 HID 팬이고 이들 연합군의 어떤 부대의 편도 아닌데 너무 이상해서 시간들여 댓글 다는 거예요.

This episode is a prime example of “speed over security” and “security over speed” type of missions, if not for the keys, USSFx707 would finish with far better results, but again, their teammate got injured because of his own mistake
I need an English sub so bad ... I'm happy 707 won ... I just don't get how could they win when one of their members couldn't make it to the finish line 🤔
They won because despite losing member Changkyu midway through (who had to go to the hospital because of the leg injury he sustained), they still finished the mission with the remaining members. They ended being behind UDTxUDU team by ~30 seconds despite going at a much faster speed because of the issues with the keys and the leg injury. It was only after calculating penalties (a minute added per shot), where Wyll had 1 on him and Go In Ho had 2, that the USSFx707 team ended up the winners.
You can argue that the USSFx707 team should've dragged their injured member to the finish line but they already got held back a lot having the doctor on hand examine Changkyu's leg and honestly, since it's just a show, the safety of the members should be prioritized over being nitpicky about the rules. UDTxUDU did very well but it was clear that the USSFx707 team was much faster on all accounts and had less penalty shots on them so I don't mind them being the united teams to make it to the semi-finals.

So the mission time for fastest team is 13:23 for USSFx707 and 12:52 for UDTxUDU. But the penalty rule is, they will add 60 second to your time if you get shot. So USSF Will got shot 1x and UDU member got shot 2x. So add all together USSFx707 14:23 and UDTxUDU 14:53. Hope that explains it.
Lost one member actually increased difficulty of the mission, if there were 3 members,one escort while two carry the "bio weapon", Wil could not be shot. So i'd say it is fair for USSFX707 to the winner@@Angels_and_Demons

특전사는 저번 시즌 우승팀이라 일부러 a급 안데리고 나온거 같고
미군은 늙었고 707,udu는 솔직히 다른팀에 비해 미달입니다
제작진들이 미군들 귀하게 모셔와서 조기 탈락은 못시키니 707 박찬규 대원 미션 완료 못한것에 대한 패널티를 아무것도 안준건가요?
그렇게 불공평하다 생각하면 UDT와 미특수부대 해상작전때 UDT에게 패널티 없이 UDT 대원의 미숙한 IBS 패들링으로 인해 부서진 패들을 교체해 주고 UDT IBS보트를 선착 지점 보다 골인 지점에 더 가깝게 내린 UDT도 패널티를 주는게 맞지 않나요? 그 와중에도 끝까지 잠수 안 하고 줄에 매달린 키 박스를 통째로 수면 위로 갖고 온 UDT에 대해선 왜 아무 말도 없죠? 제작진이 그렇게 커버를 쳐주고도 UDT를 이긴 미특수부대 대원들이 대단할 따름입니다

so dissapointed how they want to get 707 and USSF ti semi-finals. the exact rule was to caome back to check point for all members of the team but 707 member injured and went to the hospital.. it is nonsence that no penalty was given to 707 ussf. PD makes UDT go home..... UDT just show them who is the strongest.

@@jamonleecarter8698 그린베레랑 네이비씰은 보통 M4 사용하는데 저기서 쓰이는 총들이랑 똑같습니다 ^^. M4에 FSP가 있다는 점만 다르지, 사실상 똑같은 총이에요 ㅋㅋ 조작법, 부품 등등 그냥 똑같아요.. 제작진이 미군 배려해서 그런진 모르겠는데 Optic도 EOTech로 넣어주고 레이저도 달아줬구만 ㅋㅋ

수가 줄어들게 된 것임으로 총상 갯수로 승패가 결정되는 미션에서 부상자를 간과하고 계산한단는 것은 좀 아닌것 같습니다. 그리고 구급차가와서 후송하는 그 시간은 어떻게 계산한건지.. 구급차 부르고 도착해서 후송까지 소요된 시간을 스탑워치로 계산한 건가요?? 좀 허술해 보이네요

제작진에서 미국 연합팀 모셔놓고, 조기 탈락 시키는것도 말이 안되고, 최소 4강이상.. 내 예상은 아마도 결승전에서 한국팀이랑 대결 구도를 생각했을거 같은데.. 여기서 탈락하면 안되죠.
그리고 나도 이런 전술은 모르는데, 1:01:25 에 윌은 이미 죽었음. 돌려차기도 아니고, 돌려 총쏘기 인가?? ㅎㅎ

대항군 수준이 애들 초등학생 물총 놀이 수준의 조준과견착 자세가 뭐라고 해야할지 말이안나오네.. 우리집 애기들도 물총놀이하면 위아래 위아래 나름 엄폐끼면서 빼꼼빼꼼 쏘고 심지어 막내는 쏘다가 뒤를 노리려고 크게 돌아서 쏘아대는데 아무리 타임어택 이라지만 FM 대로 마일즈장비 끼고 합시다. 최강의 특수부대 를 가려야 한다면 수색대 정도는 아니지만 일반현역 수준의 예비군 모집하여 대항군 으로 편성하면 미션은 완료 할지라도 연합군 3.5명은 그냥 갈리거나전원 전사 오 미션실패와성공 으로
승부를 거는데 더 멋진쇼가 될것 같습니다. “ 대항군 도 바보는 아닙니다 ”
