Great video. I was going to add some stuff about the U.S. bombing of Cambodia and rise of Pol Pot, because that's regularly overlooked, but you were on the ball.
Another thing that gets overlooked regularly is that during the Korean war, before China got involved, the U.S. sent "accidental" bombing missions into China to bomb Chinese villages and infrastructure. Also, the CIA staged multiple invasions of China via Burma, which are almost never talked about. But you're right, and it would take multiple books and supporting resources to go into all of the interventionism done by the United States.

Here in Brazil, the CIA disposed of Joao Gollart for his support of left movements and workers, and they use the military to acchieve that, in that time the military receive approval of the bourgoies media of brazil. The military start to control the media, the education, the politics, killing hundreds of left movements, sindical leaders and alleged "socialists". They also oppressed racial minority and religious one (the military was catholic). But after the worst economic crises of Brazil history, in the 80s, the workers unite themselfs and end the military regime. Now in the year 2021 a lot of right wings movement wants the military regime back again to destroy the workers and leftist movement (because it rise since the fall of the military) and end all social advancements in brazil for workens and minorities in the past 40 years.

the brazilian version of the "april's fool" consists of the date when the last military regime took effect. João Goulart (Jango) was just another president and was a "leftist" one. opportunists call him the last of this kind before luiz inácio (their current major representation), who shares a very similar discourse: "unity, democracy, and reform".
the pressure from peasants for the right to land was at that time so high that it forced him to enact a land reform, which touches on the topic of semifeudality and how it holds back the national bourgeoisie, but doesn't solve the problem since the landlords (today branded as the "Agrobusiness") had some of their land bought by the state for it to be distributed and could purchase more of that somewhere else.
jango was yet tough on maintaining his image of a leftist and even refused an invite from the yankees to jointly invade cuba. john kennedy grew unfond of and worried about him, so after promoting propaganda against him the usa organized a whole military operation to depose jango consisting mostly of getting on their side high military officers (though not all of them) to conduct campaigns throughout the country and guarantee the accomplishment of the coup.
as a "leftist", jango had no true plan of resistance and fled to uruguay, where he bought a farm. he later supported the brazilian Broad Front, that counted with opportunist parties, including his own (PTB), and when it not surprisingly failed to peacefully oppose and bring down the military regime he retired from the political career and focused on managing his lands

Good work. Though I think you went a little easy on the US here. For instance, no mention of US control in Cuba _after_ the 1922, until the Cuban Revolution, which was so overwhelmingly popular in Cuba that America chose to fund it in hopes of gaining control of it, rather than aid the regime they had installed there prior to the revolution. That's how much Cubans hated America's guy.

@Syphax Atlas European socialism is not marxist communism. It is a hodge podge. Unbridled capitalism is a disaster too as it becomes an unregulated autocratic oligarchy. The system in the US is a representative government supported by a philosophy of individual equal and inalienable rights given by God and enforced by “natural law.” The USA is an “on-going system of managed revolution” always seeking a “more perfect union.” Not yet perfect but still striving for it. Socialism suppresses innovative revolution and squashes active rebellion. The US system is not perfect but so far its the best system we humans have come up with.
