Pistachios, one of the most beloved and nutritious nuts in the world, have been cultivated for centuries. Today, the United States has emerged as the leading producer of this delicious nut, accounting for approximately 40% of world production. The production of pistachios is a lucrative business that generates significant revenue for farmers and processors alike. The total value of the U.S. pistachio crop in 2022 reached an impressive 1.9 billion dollars. The commercial production of pistachios is mainly centered in California's San Joaquin and Sacramento Valley regions, where growers produce nearly 300,000 tons of this crunchy delight annually, accounting for more than 98% of the domestic crop. Although Arizona and New Mexico also produce pistachios, their production does not match the scale of California's. In 2022, California pistachio growers achieved a record-breaking harvest, producing 1.03 billion pounds of nuts, with a farm gate value of over 1.8 billion dollars. It's clear that pistachios are not only a delicious snack but also a vital contributor to the U.S. agricultural industry.
Pistachio consumption is big in the US, but what does the process of cultivation and harvesting these pistachios look like?

Instead of growing grids of Pistachios and other orchard trees, would creating hexagons lay out as the tree as a center piece for a symbiotic multifaceted biome area, work? Could it be feasible?

thank you for sharing the details of pistachios farming experience and cultivation.
I wonder of water, dirt, sand, salts formulas that, could be more careful aimed in pistachio favor and growing benefits?
awesome grade separations, also I am wondering about replanting the better seed results every harvesting cycle?
thank you for improving farm standards along the way❤️🤍💙

Song of Solomon 6:11 KJV I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished, and the pomegranates budded.
This video shows how much care and work goes into such a crop as this. The husbandman can not be slack in his work. It reminds me of the scripture...
James 5:7 KJV Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
There is always a scripture tie in to what God created...how can people believe evolution? How would this tree even survive without man cultivating and keeping it (as it was Adam's job to keep the garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15))??

Pistachios are not my favorite. They often have an inconsistent taste and texture, and I find them to be less satisfying than other nuts.
