Fender Baja Telecaster 1960's Sonic Blue

- The discontinued Fender Sonic Blue Baja Telecaster. This is the 1960's version of this classic guitar made in Mexico. The guitar featured is a 2017 model which still had the Rosewood fretboard before Fender moved to Pau Ferro on all their Mexican guitars in 2018 because of CITIES restrictions.
I've got one of these with the Pau Ferro fretboard. What a great guitar.
They are great guitars for the momey but IMHO the pau ferro doesnt look as good as rosewood.
Right on, I recently bought the exact same guitar (2017 rosewood as well, right before they converted to Pau Ferro). Question, I've read a few reviews on folks having issues with the S1 switch. Have you had any issues yourself? And overall, if you could go back would you buy this guitar again or would you have gone with something else?
Never had any problems with the S1 switch and I've previously had the 50's Baja as well that had it. IMHO this is the best value telecaster you can buy so no regrets in fact the only regrets I have is that I purchased the 50's before the 60's as the 60s is a better sounding, looking and playing guitar (the 60's neck profile is better than the 50's and the 60's has different PU configuration) than the 50's IMHO now I have owned both. In fact I sold the 50's to fund the purchase of the 60's.
@Edward1312 That's reassuring, thanks for the reply! I bought mine used a few weeks ago in pristine condition. A few reviews had me concerned over the S1 switch. I'd say that the majority of reviews are positive so I'm excited to keep playing and building my skills on this guitar

Again I have a 50's Baja telecaster.
The 60's version is a better guitar IMHO.
