I left a church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit were not welcome. The preaching was dry. The pastor had to tell jokes to keep people's attention. I always knew this church was lacking but I never knew just how serious their lack was or what it meant about their eternal destination.

Some very good revelation in there I had never seen or heard before concerning Abraham, Isaac, Rebekah and Abraham's servant. Marvelous and makes so much sense. God is so good in how He reveals His plan right throughout Scripture.

I like this message, though would have loved to hear Pastor Derek Prince say all the gifts of the holy spirit and scriptures
I went to a church where there was a young Pastor and his wife. One of the leaders told me that the church don't look at the gifts eg .Prophets, saying they were only used in the old days when people didn't have the bible. In this church the Bishop/ and Pastor's could speak a blessing over the congregation. Felt like the Catholic church style.I found that I always have to give money for this and that prayer or need. One Sunday after a warm service the Pastor announced we all pray for the tithe givers. It was like a scolding to the ones that hadn't tithed. I left the church because I felt pressurised with all the activities and the giving of money all the time. Also the reviews were bad. I felt confused, afraid and lost. I love the Lord and don't need confusion about what He wants from me. I later decided to pray on- line with a Prophetess from my own country who has a deliverance ministry. We have had similar experiences in life. There is prayer hour and I am now an intercessor. I feel useful and can prepare my prayer points, also learning from my bible. Plus it's more interesting, practical, signs and wonders in this deliverance ministry. I feel inspired to keep praying and praying and hoping and seeing God move in my life and in the life of others. I continue to ask God for guidance.

I love and trust in you Jesus even though I have fallen on hard times. I know you are my Lord and savior. I will stay faithful and true. Heavenly Father please give me the strength to keep supporting my two autistic children, and myself. My sons require a lot from me because they are special needs. Due to them having issues in school, I’m now homeschooling them. I’m a single mother my husband passed away unexpectedly years ago. I lost my job at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I have heart disease and I suffer from lupus that’s the major reason why I declined the vaccine. I’m waitressing and I’m grateful but I’m not making enough to make ends meet. Every month is a struggle, to not end up on the streets with my boys. Also now that I’m homeschooling them my schedule is limited. I’m so overwhelmed and ashamed. I get harassed and bullied on this app for sharing my testimony. It makes me want to give up. But even as I struggle! I have faith in God and I STILL PRAISE HIM! THANK YOU YESHUA! I KNOW God will provide. All praise to the MOST HIGH!

I don't know you, but I am your sister in Christ and I am praying for you right this minute to be encouraged. Just know we're near the end of the road. His coming is so soon. Keep your eyes focused ahead. Because we ain't seen nothing yet. Keep doing what your doing because God is the only one holding key's to HELL and HEAVEN. You should already know what it takes to get through the right door. So stay encouraged, bless you in Jesus name

Praying for you. Remember Elijah and the widow with the jar of oil and the flour. Each day, miraculously there was just enough for them to eat. That's why in the Lord's prayer we say, "Give us this day our daily bread." Because sometimes we don't know how we will get through the day. But God will provide. Derek Prince has several videos talking about how to remove the obstacles that may be blocking your blessings.

i hope to find clarity on this regarding ALL the gifts - including prophecy and speaking in tongues.
people love to point out "beware of false prophets" and you should, naturally. but there are people who believe ALL prophets are false. even when they speak of coming events ...and the events unfold just as they said they would.
i am familiar with the carnival tricks that make bold yet vague statements but some things just can't be denied.
one church i attended flat refused ANY of the gifts were present. that they were taken away with John (i forget which chapter and verse. but it said "until john") the pastor took that to mean these gifts were only present for as long as it took to build the church. he wouldn't have it any other way. no argument would convince him. my question was always "when was the church finished?" because we still have countries where it is illegal to possess a bible. how are those people supposed to be saved if they can't read scripture and missionaries are put to death when caught?
i decided to leave that church for several reasons, that being one of them. the entire congregation and the pastor refused to pray for America. it's a lost cause. Instead pray for Jesus to come soon..... even though the bible says that WILL be a terrible day indeed. they believed that if you weren't already saved then you never would be.
which conflicts with the whole testifying and spreading the word... or... burying your talent. the pastor was old, not many young people in the church other than my two sons and his great grandkids who were toddlers.... he wasn't offering much incentive for my sons to profess anything to anyone... even though today's youth need to hear the gospel more than anything.
Nope, the whole congregation might as well be sitting on a bench, arms crossed, noses in the air, waiting on the rapture bus to come pick them up.
"REVIVAL" was a pipe dream. a false hope. it aint gonna happen. this. is. it.
services lasted exactly one hour. the before service prayer was quick and always the same. before the prayer was given he would ask for prayer requests.... and then speed into the generic prayer. and everything was wrapped up in time for lunch. there wasn't much fellowship after the service or before.
i've since moved my sons to a different church back in the fall of 2021. it is the polar opposite. serves last HOURS. you're free to leave any time you want. you're not obligated to stay. but i am usually happy to stay put and listen and learn. i appreciate that they send out pray requests through texts. and when these people pray they pray hard and with the faith that says they've already received the gifts they requested.
and.... we're having quite a big revival in the coming weeks. and while i still havent made my mind up about prophets there will be several of the big names in attendance. i don't mind listening. whether they have a word or not, their preaching is solid. the few times i've listened to them it was absolutely preaching from the bible not just standing there with their eyes closed and speaking on behalf of God.
i'm taking it all in, but i think Derek Prince is my favorite when it comes to interpretation. he's opened my eyes to a lot of things... mainly the important and value of FATHERS. and how many of society's ills can be traced back to delinquent fathers.
if fathers had been firmly where they belonged, at the head of the household, we would have never needed such things as "feminism" and "government welfare" .... both of which are poor substitutes for strong men who are capable AND willing to providing for their families, protecting and guiding them along the way.
None of the churches i ever attended talked about this at any length. and as a result, i see a lot of suffering.

[10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
    Galatians 4:26 KJVS

    Isaiah 66:7-8 KJVS
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. [8] Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
    Revelation 12:1-2,5 KJVS
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: [2] And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. [5] And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

The unity of Christ and the Church, head and members of one Body, also implies the distinction of the two within a personal relationship. This aspect is often expressed by the image of bridegroom and bride. The theme of Christ as Bridegroom of the Church was prepared for by the prophets and announced by John the Baptist. The Lord referred to himself as the "bridegroom". The Apostle speaks of the whole Church and of each of the faithful, members of his Body, as a bride "betrothed"to Christ the Lord so as to become but one spirit with him. The Church is the spotless Lamb. Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her. He has joined her with himself in an everlasting covenant and never stops caring for her as for his own body.

    Galatians 5:5 KJVS
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
Teachers like to use the word imputed, but that word does not appear in the New Testament of the King James version of the Bible. Righteousness is not imputed it is worked into a believer by God.
    Hebrews 12:6-8,11 KJVS
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. [7] If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? [8] But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. [11] Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
