- Oftentimes, when life lacks clarity, we get lost. We can’t distinguish between good and evil, truth and fiction, or an outburst of anger and a cry for help. How do we find our way when things seem so confusing?
What we need is a discerning spirit. Without it, we make unwise choices and miss out on opportunities for blessings. Dr. Stanley explains why we need spiritual discernment and how we can develop it. He shares how to:
- understand truthfully what God is saying to you.
- separate truth and error.
- avoid being deceived by sin.
- differentiate between what’s good and what’s best.
- distinguish between legalism and liberty.
- recognize when God’s speaking to you.
- give godly counsel.
Discernment is a gift of God and is something we should pray for daily. But we don’t have to sit around waiting for it to appear. We can seek clarity by reading God’s Word and learning from those who teach sound biblical principles. Also, we can learn from our own experiences as well as the life lessons of others.
You don’t have to go through life in a fog. Discover the peace and clarity that comes with developing a discerning spirit.

Definition of color blind= Mr Charles Stanley. When I sit under this mans teaching, all I see and hear is the love of God's word through the holy spirit. he is the true representation of a spiritual father like Paul was to his flock. He speaks the word with a pureness with no added confusion or political divide. when life gets heavy and overwhelming at every side, I fast and pray on Charles Stanley teaching, until I hv a breakthrough. @@rene230464I often find myself silently critiquing others who do not capitalize names of, and references to, the Godhead. And, while it’s a major pet peeve of mine, I just lead by example in my writing. Another thing to consider is the fact that there are many versions of the Bible that do not capitalize deity pronouns. I honestly don’t know how to think about people who follow that example. But, regardless of the Bible version I’m reading, it’s a reverential act I find hard to ignore.
😂 I am the same way...I usually capitalize the entire HE, HIS (for clear understanding this is God I am referencing) and then I do Word, Bible....😂

This morning, I questioned God if I was right by putting certain people away from me. I start feeling sorry for them. In the past, God told me to keep my eyes open and stay focused when He tells me about certain persons. I can only pray for some people. Thanks for these teachings. The Holy Spirit: my reminder ♥️

I escaped an narcissistic abusive relationship because of this beautiful gift from God and we were not harmed by the wicked. Jesus saved us and I thank, love and praise Him for all the days of my life. Discernment goes far beyond this sermon, as you become stronger He gifts you with dreams and visions. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding and He will make Your paths straight. That was true when I was a teenager and young in my faith I am now 64 and have been forgiven all my past sins as far as the east is from the west . Prayer changes things 🙏 ✨️ My son has been gone 11 years this October 17 ! He's with God ! How do I know 🤔 because my Father God told me . The devil is a liar! I plead the precious blood of Jesus over my family and friends and all God's children. And my oldest child has a rebirthday of December 3rd because she died on the operating table and came back to life Hallelujah God is amazing rebirthday

Wisdom and discernment should be the cornerstone of every prayer. The wisdom to understand the things going on in and around us. Yet many run once they realize what that entails and how that will take you out of being a Sunday school Christian, to the reality of our faith. And mature you into maturity.
