It’s so funny how healthcare professionals always describe opiate withdrawal as “flu like symptoms”, because that’s all they can measure in their studies. The true pain of withdrawal is psychological (Absolute Panic & acute anxiety, Insomnia, overwhelming emotional disturbances, restless leg syndrome (kicking), crushing depression….). It’s not surprising to me that some addicts would kill to avoid it, it’s like a bad acid trip where you’re tormented relentlessly.

It’s like waves of continuous paid crashing all over your body constantly and continuously every second of every day with no period of relief. It’s the greatest form of torture I can think of. It’s fucking unbelievable and unbearable.

At least she mentions that people are trying to stop withdrawals and not because they want to get high because you can go cop a back or get a pill that will get you really high for less than how much of this medication you have to take to feel a mild relief. I wish there was a way to explain to more people what the pain of withdrawal really is like. All these TV stations and mainstream networks are corrupt.

We know the risk but I think from former users know best. My drug addiction counselor was a former addict and the sympathy and knowledge they have about addiction and withdrawal.

30mg taken across one day shut down Methadone withdrawal completely.

What mg methadone were you taking? I spilled three of my last doses for the month, so I’m starting to feel pretty shitty, I take 120mg methadone daily. I just took 18mg of Imodium like 10 minutes ago. Hopefully it gets me through until tomorrow

@@tayloremriectx 60mg of Methadone daily and im almost compltely sedated and get nightmares... I would certainly drop right down to 30 to 40mg of Methadone daily and quite easily...
They seem to megadose it to you in the USA!!! Im in the UK the maximum daily dose ever is 120mg ive never known anyone ever to be raised to that dose! 80ml daily was the highest dose ive ever known! And they were like a zombie and quickly dropped down to 60 easily.
Vitamin C every 2 hours in mega doses of around 5 to 7 grams of sodium ascorbate will help with dropping the Methadone dose rapidly. It stops most of the withdrawal symptoms after taking it for 3 days gradually building the dose until bowel tolerance is reached then back off by a gram every 2 hours until stable.

I've read a lot of people on reddit with extreme Lope habits & say it's the most brutal WD they have ever had ... strange seeing it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier much but I've heard it from alot

@shreddednerves methadone withdrawal is pretty bad. I could see some ppl even taking themselves out to stop the pain. It's unbelievable. A great torture device.

Imodium can and Has stopped breathing in people. It's an opioid but can't cross the BBB unless quinidine is mixed with it. Which means u can take normal doses. Some opioids can affect heart, loperamide, as well as fentanyl, pethidine, methadone I think. Usually tho, those are in hospital setting luckily.
