Freddie loved the clothes she designed and used them to create the band's image following his ideas. He had it all figured out- the name for the band, the band logo, the stagewear, the show, the artwork on the album cover..... Love to listen to a designer legend's memories of a young rock legend.

Excellent video! Wonderful to hear this lovely lady discuss her dealings with Freddie and Brian. Zandra Rhodes is (sometimes) an overlooked hero in the Queen story. No other rock music act back then looked remotely like our boys, and it was all because of this lady!

Well work done, Zandra! You rock! I fell in love with Queen not only for the muisic, but also for their stage presence, their style, unique back then. Freddie was and he still is, a real icon, no doubt about it. I got stuck in the 70's, love it all, and, for the rest of our lives, Freddie still lives on. Zandra, you RULE!

Freddie always needed spectacular extravagance...Zandra Rhodes provided classy ideas and Freddie loved her styles...just like his cutoff mic stand it was part of his movements and the cloths customs were a Big deal in Freddie & Brian dramatic performances...its was cool to watch them evolve in Classy Fashion...Thank You Zandra Rhodes.
