In this week's episode, the boys must find an outfit inspired by 1970s fashion.
The boys are back, this week, each boy must find an outfit inspired by the fashion trends of the 1970s. Shaq travels to West London and meets Leroy, the owner of Mendoza, a store that specializes in 70s suits for men. Dex finds inspiration from the Black Panther movement and goes to Brixton’s Black Cultural Archives. Elias channels Elton John aesthetics and Danny investigates the New York punk scene.

A punk episode would be sick, there's so many different lanes to go into - from CBGB NYC punk, classic London punk, post punk, hardcore, ska, proto punk etc. Keep up the good work guys!

yeah punks a odd one right i mean for the most part its like heavily practical or literal but then the girls did alot of fashionable things with the whole punk image but as is the way with alot of fashion i think now tho linking back to what someone was saying about androgyny with the forward we see more of a cross over whats pretty tough going and i feel like thats the embodiment of punk in ways since its basicly one and the same for like saying faggot
@@gumption5089 depends on who you're aiming for. Ian Curtis style, just get suit trousers, a suit shirt and boom. There are more, experimental looks, but in my opinion, Ian had the best look in post punk due to its simplicity.

Man, this was one of the best episodes to come out of PAQ. Every one had a sick fit with a cool backstory. Lots of funny moments here and there too.

True, i think a lot of people mistake 60’s fashion and music for the 70’s, however the late 60’s did have a huge impact on the fashion of the 70’s
i think people tend to consider trends from mid years, like from around 1965 to 1975 is heavily what would shape the 70's to be, whereas after 1975 would be where the sort of disco style is introduced as what we think about when we think 80's, even though it is still in the 70's technically
Hendrix is 100% 60s, but the thing is that he basically invented the 70s

I looked up 1970’s fashion and am so glad I found this. I’m american, but I know that a lot of american disco fashion was influenced by the 60’s peacock revolution, which in turn came from the carnaby street styles in England, so this kind of stuff is full circle. It’s fun seeing the more historical aspects of 70’s fashion, as well as modern wearers of the styles. (This video introduced me to Mendoza Menswear!)
Please do one of these for each decade that would be such a good series. Xx
