    Best folding panel design in my opinion. Wished these had come out before I had purchased the EcoFlow bi-facials. EcoFlow should copy this design as should other manufacturers. As usual great video. Thanks.

    Thks for the review! Agree that the angle being adjustable is great!
    But, for me generally no go given only three kickstands. I have a panel like that. I told myself from now on a kickstand per panel. The setup and maintaining the angle is harder vs just having a 4th kickstand.

    I have a rigid eco worthy 195 W panel and it gives me around 140 watts max . i wanted to buy a bluetti 200w but i prefer putting that money on another power battery like the ac 180 P i already have the ac 180 . but i might perchase a bluetti for the the third bluetti i want . i started withEB3A . i am not owner of a home i rent one so i cannot put that money that will not make my situation better.what if i move?? so having in the garage a 22cu feet refrigirator freezer and a 7cu feet cube freezer i need a power station in the garage and one in the kitchen for i have a refrigirator freezer also and a vertical freezer. the cost of the installation of a second transfer electrical box cost a lot . this is why why would i pay for that installation when it is not my house. what i have a bring with me whe i move. :)

    Hi and thanks for the vid, I just got myself the Bluetti AC180p and am looking at Solar panels so being aprox 8 months on how are you finding the panel and does it provide the 200W that it states - does it need full sun as some panels seem to work pretty good with partial sun or even on cloudy days .. Cheers Glenn v from NZ

      Hi congrats the AC180 is a nice unit!
      The way the solar panels work they’ll rarely give you the max wattage in this case the 200w. And yes, full sun is really going to help especially if the temperature is nice because if it’s very hot out, it doesn’t perform as well but that’s just normal. Any type of shading will definitely reduce the power it’ll produce and blocking any part of the panel will usually not produce any wattage.
      Just make sure if you buy a solar panel that you are within the solar specs. If you buy a panel that isn’t really made for your power station you can’t do some damage.

    I just got this panel with my AC70 and it no longer has a blue handle, I don’t know if it would come with the blue handle if bought separately and they changed the locking clips to snaps just like on the kickstands.

      @@TechMadeEzy I just watched this video again and looked at the new 200 watt solar panel that I have and they replaced the Velcro on the back of the kickstand and replaced it with snaps and they upgraded the snaps used. They also added holes on the corners. The last thing they did was rewired it now the wire leads into the handle and removed their name from the back of the panel and just left it on the handle.

    That extension cord setup will cause a drop in delivered wattage,so take that into account

  • @MyTentLife

    My question is would you get more watt input with 1 PV200 or more if you do 2 PV120 watt panels. I have this ac70 but I’m getting ready to buy my solar panels and I’m wondering if you would get a little faster charge from two 120 panels than the 200 panel. If anybody knows please tell me.

    • @TechMadeEzy
      @TechMadeEzy  Před 8 dny +1

      I don’t think you’ll see a big difference to be honest with you. The bottom line also depending on your knowledge of SolarPanels you need to stay within the voltage range if you’re going to connect these panels and series or the amperage range if you’re going to connect them in parallel. But based off your question, I don’t think you’ll see a big difference.

      @@TechMadeEzy so from my understanding you want to go by the amperage coming in to the power station instead of the watts. Is that correct?

    • @TechMadeEzy
      @TechMadeEzy  Před 8 dny +1

      No, what do you need to do is look at the solar specs for the power station and make sure that the solar panels that you connect to the power station don’t go over them or you can damage the power station. Are you just gonna be connecting one solar panel?

    • @tonyprior80
      @tonyprior80 Před 23 hodinami

      @Doc.Holiday hard to say as they are not serviceable, I had zero open circuit voltage in full sun, the panels were not damaged or mistreated, Bluetti did contact me back and replaced the panels with a refurbished set, these are working fine .

    • @Doc.Holiday
      @Doc.Holiday Před 9 hodinami

      @@tonyprior80 ,.. if you didn’t toss the original set, with a little outer cover surgery, I think you will find an easy connection repair someplace. Replacement and repair of the outer cover can be achieved with a range of tapes and adhesives.
