What Catholic organizations are you referring to when you say that they endorsed the bill? I'm not saying they didn't, I just have never heard this before. I was under the impression that the Catholic church as a whole was against this bill.
Do you know who said it? Are you sure it was a Republican? Could it have been a pro-life Democrat? Could it have been a spectator in the gallery? Is your partisan thinking really contributing to the discourse or is it showing the ignorance of close minded two party system?

Finally, the health care reform bill has passed, it would be better with an public option included.
