  • Come along on our trip through Manhattan sampling some of the best Vietnamese food the city has to offer!
    First, we stop by Banh Mi Saigon for my favorite bahn mi in NYC, then we head over Hanoi House to slurp up the most mind blowing pho- possibly in the world. Lastly, we take a walk over to Madame Vo for Vietnamese Spring rolls ( chả giò ) and a nice crispy rice cake omelette.
    You don't want to miss this!

    The origin and the authenic version of Pho is the Hanoi Pho that u tried, or a typical northern style of Pho. The South version is just the custom by their taste. North people like it salty, spicy, South like it sweet and spicy. And the most different is we dont eat with hoison sauce, or sweet chilli sauce, or beanspourts or basil... Just beef bones, beef, green onion, and the authenic broth with fresh chillies, we not usually adding sweet things to change the broth, so yeah just that

    It’s utterly disappointing, because 99% of the times, “banh mi” is always mis-spelled, and the rolls shown are NOT Vietnamese spring roll at all, just Chinese styled egg rolls.

    All Pho in NYC is pretty trash. Nam Son, Thai Son, Hanoi House, Pho Grand, An Choi, all mediocre compared to west coast Pho and even Texas. SMH

      @SavaSnacks  Před 3 lety

      Haha well I've eaten pho on the west coast and it was good but never been to texas though I know that they have a vibrant vietnamese community. Would love to try it! Make a video and I'll watch!
