Most people realise what it was, what it is, and what it always will be. Personally i choose not to watch it based on what i think it is, and how it represents itself. If other people enjoy that sort of thing and choose to watch, thats fine.
I thought it was going to be because it's too political these days, but if the question was asked because they're not happy about getting no points then they shouldn't be - the song was awful and the performance was far too sexualised. The UK deserved what it got. Just look back to 2022 - perfect example of the UK getting it right.
This year the UK came 18th out of 37 countries. Far better than usual, so I'm not sure what the hype is all about. Slow news?
