Red Bull is so awesome. They essentially trashed an F1 car for the sake of having an awesome day with it and getting some footage no other F1 team would consider taking. The amount of money spent just making this commercial is astronomical (just those F1 tires are tens of thousands of dollars each) and it is incredible to watch. Thanks for the great video!
For all of you that don't know. This track is not a dirt track. This is before the track was even built. This is an asphalt track now called The Circuit of the Americas. It is about 3.5 miles long with 20 turns. I just watched the first Moto GP race at that track in April 2013.The track is beautiful. It is very very well done. The first F1 race at this track is scheduled for November this year. If you ever get a chance to see them race at the Circuit of the Americas in San Antonio TX. Please do
TheFutureEVH Hell, trash the car. It'll cost too much to repair after the cattle-guard crossing, nevermind the Texan dirt in the the intakes, brakes, suspension bits, and likely the engine. Still, other than being one lumpy, bumpy ride, that must've been fun for the driver!

I'm no fan of the Red Bull F1 team, but this was brilliant! What an amazing promo for F1 returning to the US. Excellently edited promo from start to finish and those super slow mo doughnuts were fantastic. One of the best videos I've seen.
Ya but you wont get hella good discount on super fuel which is hella expensive and your team would suffer from financial shit cause red bull only do discount for paintjob and redbull supply also tires are really expensive and only last like 2 laps

I didn't realize that was David Coulthard -- bet he had a blast filming that.
KastaRules they used to use Michelin, goodyear and bridgestone but switched to Pirrelli, less hectic to have one car going with good year and another going with a different typer brand wondering what got them that extra quarter sec, the tyre or there driving.
KastaRules They always have, its not just the drivers racing out there, but at the same time it gives you a chance to prove yourself, drivers in the worst cars on the grid have gotten pole and proved there skill.
Just what I needed after this day to make it a bit better. Formula video + listening to the music I like (Delta Parole, Metallica and other) make me feel the speed and excitement!
It's a 3.427 mile circuit, 1st F1 race in that track was last year. The track was finished about 1-2 months before the race happened. Btw, it's located in the outskirts of Austin, not San Antonio, TX.

+Dakota Burns The engines they use now are turbocharged V6's, not V8's. V8's were used from 2006-2013.
