This sounds like "Don't Be Affraid" of Information Society... and I love that album!
Billy was the first to do an album like Cyberpunk, he had a concept in his head. But nobody wanted that concept. I do find the album to be weak. But i like the ideas he had with it. Interactive and new.. For the future.. But the 90's was indie and clubby on one side, and alternative on the other. And with groups like White Zombie. NIN and Marilyn Manson, the king of pop punk seemed out of date and dryed up..
You had band that had that same concept before billy like Ministry and Skinny puppy.
@@Guitarist888 doubt it. The record was interactive and played different things depending on where you played it. Read something about it having lyrics and wallpapers if you played it on a pc. I think it had links or codes that took you to sites with extra stuff too. Not sure, been too long. But still. This was never been done like this before. It was a new experience altogether. But yeah... it still didn't save the album. People say it was ahead of its time,and had he waited with that kind of record it would have made more sense. We'll never know..
