Happy new years bro🤝🏼
Another banger👌🏼
Appreciate it
Sho my brother I want to come over to check my car wear are you staying
Yo
I think the best is to have it diagnosed with a plugin machine, the ecu might have alot of errors on it, that needs to be cleared, the car sounds like it has a cam in the car, if it is overfueling, it can only be the map sensor thats faulty
Sup, it is the ECU, we have swapped another ECU on and it idles fine and is smooth so now we need to get the ECU set properly. Thanks for the tip too
@@LMManuelmorning
Happy new year
Just make sure the fueling on the new ecu is set on 200 fuel trim
If its lower, u wont get power, if u going to fit racing cam, it will need to be set lower, otherwise its going to overfuel, or the other way is to connect a uniQchip to your ecu to control the ecu, thats what im running currently on my 2l8v, ferolli ecu with UniQchip.
The biggest cam, u can go with ecu is 272 estas cam, fueling will be around 100 fuel trim, which is beautiful for your setup, but u will need to get someone with a diagnostic plug to doo a plugin on your ecu to doo that
@@LMManuelIf u want the best result on your car, u will need to get a digital timing light, get u a guy that has a plugin machine, then put it on timing mode and set the timing with the machine, your car will be performing great, timing wont be good if u set it with the hand, u wont knw what degrees u setting the timimg on, the standard timing will be around 6 degrees, bt im sure u can give more, like a 7 to 9 degrees with polocup ecu
I will keep this in mind thanks!
Now we did use a timing light to set the timing and that's when we figured out that the ECU is off because with the car's timing set with the timing light. The car is idling low. Now when we put the ECU from my father's fox the car idles without issue.
If im not mistaken I think I saw you on the bluff today
You were indeed mistaken😂 too busy working on this car to be on the bluff
@@LMManuel it was around 8:30
Yeah that certainly wasn't me😂
Evening
I have the same loom in my 2.0 8v mk3 Jetta but i cant scan the car with diagsostic scanner ... because idling is high and thought i should do the vag throttle body adaptation .
Are you able to scan the car with a diagnostic scanner because it didn't pick up on my car
When you connect the OBD2 cable to a computer that can use the vcds programme then it picks up
Just wanted to find out the breather pipe on the tappet cover is it just a open 90 degree bend or a pcv valve i am planning on converting to fuel injection and I'm missing that pipe on the tappet covet and i don't know where to find one
Hi its basically a 90° screw and nut type of pipe u can go to any scrap yard and buy a 8v tappet cover if u cant find it loose
Hi, it's just an open 90° plastic bend that fits into the tappet cover. I'll try to get a better shot of it in the next video for you.
@@LMManuel thanks i appreciate it
Why are you saying it's a 1.9
czcams.com/video/HNMCDX25Pz4/video.html it's a 1.8 that's been stroked up to a 1.9
