Amazing set of battles! Would have loved to see more of the Dark Raichu deck, but I also enjoyed watching Ho-Oh/Muk (I'm glad I requested it!). Seeing Venusaur/Megaium in action was also fun! For that matter, I feel like I understand Venusaur/Meganium better after this battle (I'm used to playing it with Dodrio and didn't feel quite sold on adding a second stage 2. I wonder why Jason doesn't include Meganium in his vanilla Base-Neo or his Rocket-Legendary Collection lists). Great third anniversary celebration!
Now that you own a playset of Dark Raichu and movie promo Pikachu, you could build that Lightning type deck I mentioned in my Prop 15/3 article for a battle some time. I'm pretty sure you own every card you need, and people seem to love to Prop 15/3 videos (Myself included), though I know it's not your favorite format.
Speaking of favorite formats, do you intend to build Hall of Fame permanently to some capacity? Or will this be like your Base Set and Prop 15/3 videos, where none of the decks survive long-term after the video?
I noticed you picked the Hall of Fame that hates hand disruption, by the way. ;)

Okay, normally some of the prize cards being off-screen isn't a problem, but it becomes frustrating when those prize cards are actually flipped over and we never know what half of them are. Could you please make them more visible in future, or even just hold them up to the camera? At least call out what they were in the commentary or as a message on-screen (if you can't remember what they were by the time editing comes, maybe write them down at the time).

why ho-oh die in the minute 32:52? I think dark raichu do 30 damage more 10 damage by GR mew2. It is 40 damage plus 30 damage done to ho-oh. But ho-oh has 90 HP. I dont know where are the 20 damage left.
Ho-oh has 70 damage at that point, not 30 because of meowth's attack earlier.
If you look closely, you'll see that one of the damage counters is bigger than the other two, that one counts as 50 damage.

@@holon_phantom This is probably an argument for dice, which are clearer to see on camera vs slightly larger glass beads with 50 written instead of 10. Tbh, If the beads were "5" and "1" and counted as base 10 it would also make it clearer.
I've never personally had issues understanding the damage with the beads but ive seen numerous comments similar to the one above that are caused by damage not being as clear as it could be with dice (and also allowing fewer physical things to move on/off cards).

Are these cards all proxies? Or do you somehow own THIS many old school cards🤨
The japan exclusives are proxies (lugia, mewtwo, pichu), and a few English cards (dark raichu and promo pikachu) because I didn't have enough time to buy them for this video
But all the rest are real. I've been collecting for 25 years since the game first started
