"Brother I would wear a dress for you……cross my legs for you" LOVE it
I love a blackman...I love to serve a blackman...I salute a blackman...the best gift God has given me...a black King!!!
That audience is dry
She's amazing
So damn dry!
"Do not promise me the truth and lie cos I will set your valley of dry bones on fire" Classic! LooooL
Every black man had to have listened to this like it was a personal letter... like a crown around your head.
She just touched my soul!
Woman. You are more than an angel. You are fire. Alive. Burning with the life force that keeps us silly and emotional and more sane than any man can refuse. For we are from a similar breed of magician. And your Top 10 was magic. Blessings sister!
I love her voice and I want "Did I say I was from a different breed of magicians?" tattooed on me.
Me too !!! 🥰
This got me really emotional. Her poem and the way she said it was so powerful. I looked at Joshua Bennett's 10 Things I Want To Say To A Black Woman and I liked it, but hers felt so much more real and raw and like...everything about women I admire and aspire to be like, passion, creativity, tenderness, intelligence, strength, wit and wisdom. I have so much love for her.
I fell in love with this poem.
+Steph Smith Why compare though? It's two two different audiences. Hmm..
Ok Karen
@@leilanirose3274 right that why I left her with a response ok Karen white people are something else why did she even have to comment if she is just going to compare
Her voice is so beautiful to listen to! "Women are silly and emotional; if in fact you find a woman that is serious and emotionless, she is insane." Every word in this poem is simply lovely!
"YOU ARE MAGIC" never forget black men😁👏
I thought I could handle this... until she said she wanted to use his tears for kool-aid.
Then I just broke down laughing my ass off.
ctfu 😂😂😂😂
Yesss
Thats the thing about the affect of art. Its effect on you was unexpexted. Some real artistic works can produce surprising reaction.
Its like when i read Paul Gaugan's Polinesian "venus" described as a squat beauty.
I just thought how could Someone say that.
The description was right, but it was my perception that was in error, because while i could have appreciated squattness as personally attractive, I'd never before viewed it as venus like or widely beautiful.😊
Its refreshing to hear poems like this, as well as Joshua Bennett's version, that glorify black men and women, instead of us falling prey to Eurocentric ideologies and hating each other.
This is my 100th time watching this poem and it never gets old.
Real eyes realize real lies
I love Blackman, I love my kings!!
I love you too!
We love u 2
I just want to say that Falu is the most amazing poet I have ever watched. Beautiful work.
Loved this. Just what I needed to inspire my black men appreciation post on my blog. Yes girl PREACH
Wowww!!! Amazing, pure unadulterated love & longing in the midst of her words. Black men are truly magic, so are black women.
I love her... and especially this piece

One of the most beautiful poems I've ever heard
Her voice is enchanting
Great poetry from a great Sister Falu.
Sista, sista sista, I couldn't have said it better myself. I thank the universe for your brilliance Queen!
Beautiful, deep, magnificent...sooooo moving. Thank you
I have seen her perform this for over 5 years. Her voice intoxicates you and it never gets old.
This is a story that reaches to the spirit of Black man, that reaches to the depth of his soul and tells him their is no him without that balance that only a Black woman can give. Wise up brothers the sistas are educating us.
Oh. My. God. Falu's voice and words are so amazing. Such beauty. Thank you!!!
Simply amazing Queen
Where are the real ladies at? Miss one to recite me such beautiful praises. Adorable.
Your words, your voice-POWER!!!!
Her voice is just😩😩😩like there’s no words. And this is beautiful!!!!
This was beautiful.
6 is so true its about sacrifice and sacrifice only uhh breathtaking!
This woman's voice is my substitute for sitting by the ocean, breathing in the breeze whilst listening to the waves. It is truly the purest calm I can achieve and she has done this with words. Bless you. Namaste is not a strong enough blessing so the best I can do is say bless you and thank you. Between you, Sarah Kay, Harry Baker, Guante, and Sabrina Benaim I am steadily reminded of the good things in this world. Thank you all for what you do.
I had to listen to this again! Love it!
Absolutely beautiful.
I've been listening to this poem for 9 years, waiting.
Your lovely voice and your kind, heartfelt words soothe my mind. thank you
This only has 26k views, uh uh something isnt right, this was beautfiful! Type in black man/white woman relationships or black woman/white man marriage and they pulling in ATLEAST 6 digit number views smh I love Black love, no matter how the media tries to brainwash me and other young people that interracial love is the way to go (there is nothing wrong with interracial
This is beautiful. My heart is melted & mind slain yet again, by such artfully crafted works. I appreciate you sister!
One thing that I want to tell the Black man. - I Love you. I love the skin (Especially the chocolate ones and the deep voice.) My Father was a Black man. He passed away when I was little. The little girl in me misses him so much.
Love This. Made my heart warm in & out

Amazing i can listen to this ever day
This is absolutely beautiful. And tender, and passionate, and real.
I just remembered how beautiful people and myself can be, beyond any possible words that can be put into or readable words
I loved it!
Amazing! ❤️❤️
"Women r silly & emotional. If u in fact find 1 that is serious & emotionless that woman is insane." Wow!...maybe askin for a woman that ain't crazy is asking for a woman that is a cold robot. I'm completely rethinking women now!
Beautiful piece of poetry.

I like how she pulled together the water question at the end

"you can swim, can't you?" :), classic!!
That one hits deep then back to where she said she not afraid of what they do in the dark
She is amazing 🤩
Just discovering this, and am in tears
Sister you are grace, beauty, and Queen. I do not use the word Queen loosely as everyone else because I know what it represents. U are a Queen because those words were royal and from the heart. Thanks for the vision and the love.

Her voice. I could fall asleep to it. Not in a bad way, but in a sort of, her voice sounds like a lullaby to the rain falling on a rooftop.
