I won’t know what to do with myself seeing vault episodes with bottles I actually recognize 😂 seriously though this is huge news… honestly wasn’t sure the day would ever come. Excited for the future! Honestly? I’m kinda ok with you guys Re-reviewing stuff from the first year or two as well. I won’t be mad to see all the staples come back through the pipeline.
Even with going to 3x a week, we finished almost 2 months early. That is impressive. Someone tell Graham & Peter that their time is coming back! The bottom shelf episodes shall return!

The Malt of Magnificence sounds A LOT like the Hillrock Single Malt Whiskey, and it's one of my all time favorites. As I recall, they imported some Scottish peat to get a similar note in there. You recently tried their Double Cask Rye and I think you both enjoyed it ;) Just wanted to put that out there to pique your interest. Regardless, looking forward to eventually? maybe? being able to get some of this myself! Cheers!
that Rock Hard label is awesome, and the whiskey in the bottle is outstanding. "The first castle we built, fell over and sank into the swamp. So we built a second. And that one fell over and sank into the swamp. But did that stop us? NO. We built a third castle and that one burned down, fell over and sank into the swamp. But the fourth one, stayed up." Much that same journey as Daniel and his barrels. Looking forward to a return of rare whisky Friday.
Your 100 proof comment made me think. You need to find a town somewhere named Bond and start sourcing whiskeys from all over. Then, no matter what it is, what proof it is or how long it was aged you can say it was Bottled in Bond.
I missed out on the MOM, but I did get the Magnificent Beast - My single favorite bottle ever. I love every sip, but hate to take it because it's one sip closer to the bottom of the bottle.
Have a bottle of the Jackalope. One of those bottles that is so good you're crushing it when you first get it. Then I got to the half way point and I'm slowing way down because I don't want it to end. Really good stuff.

Define the differences between American Single Malt and Speyside. I have had Westland and I thought that it was a lot like Speyside, more like a great reference for what a Speyside should be. What did I miss???
Based on these tasting notes PLEASE compare this to Cedar Ridge QuintEssential signature blend. That's pure malty barely aged in oak. Concept sounds exactly like the scotch flavors with bourbon rules you just described. And they have great distribution. I remember the vid you did a while back saying Cedar Ridge should live on your brain but your forget because it's from Iowa. 😂 time to compare and revisit.

The only thing I'm saddened about this video is....that they have a rare whisky, from a local distillery with limited distribution (compared to the larger brands) and post it review...on a Monday instead of a Friday. *Insert meme * We were on the verge of greatness, we were this close.
