I have SLS server running however I am running into issues using it with 'typical' apps Larix broadcast, etc that require the stream ID and caller/listener info to be placed in proper field (not in the '?streamid=' notation). Does anyone have any experience with this?
Good instruction, set everything up SLS is running, but when i stream to it with Larix it connects for short time i see some reaction in console, and then shows me "Unknown connection failure", cant figure out what's wrong =( There are no error messages only INFOs. Maybe you have some suggestions?

I have OBS running on Ubuntu 20.04 on an oracle 3 CPUs 24 GB RAM 200 GB space ARM server. Can i instal this on the same server? Will i then be able to stream SRT to my OBS isntance Media Source ? thanks

when i try to connect to ubuntu it says connection timed out it I am at 4:53 time on the video I have installed ssh and it will not connect any help is appreciated I am on windows 11 btw.

Hello, I'm running in to the step after adding the VLC source to the OBS. WHen I run the script on ./sls.config the server said it started but it doesn't start transfering data like you showed on your video. I checked on the noalbs side as well and everything got the green checked. May I ask what may causing this? Thank you sir your for video
Hello sir, I figured it out. When I enter the ip address it needs to be my ubuntu server not my obs server.
May I ask if there is a way I can connect multiple client to my srt server? i.e. One input stream and multi devices connect to watch that stream. Right now when I connect my device to my stream, only one can connect to see the stream. I'm not streaming via twitch, just looking a way to stream locally. Thank you sir
Why do you install everything as root? Real curious no joke. I am compiling some guides to make an SRT and RTMP server with noalbs + some useful resources.
I will probably be making a docker image in the next months. I'll let you know and credit you, since you were my inspiration for that :D
What is the latency with SLS? With NginX rtmp its about 4 seconds. As well as, does SLS work with facebook live? I know with fb live, they ingest RTMPS. Haven't watched the video before commenting. I will likely watch through it soon tho.
--- So in short, phone/streaming device (SRT), to SRT/SLS server, to OBS, to CDN (Facebook, Twitch, CZcams).
SLS is anywhere between 3-5 seconds for me when i am streaming from my phone to my SRT/SLS server. - This entire video is setting up an SRT / SLS server then from your OBS it will pick up that protocol and then send it via RTMP/RTMPS to facebook, Twitch, CZcams. - There is no native SRT protocol support of any of these giant platforms yet and it's a shame they don't support it.
@@Codexual Thanks. Yeah that is unfortunate. I'd like to try something different from RTMP since I've seen there are alternatives. Just have a $5/mo vps setup so my friend can stream to both ttv/fb live. As for the latency, he also has a gopro that can stream. He wanted to use it as an extra camera a while ago and I setup nginx so he could run it on his local network then to his local pc but it had about a 4 second delay.

so i run a linux root server, can i stream OBS via SRT to my server and let my friends watch direct SRT from the server without converting? i want as little delay as possible
