Imagine if they remaster jedi outcast and academy. Then we can have a real saber combat game for the first time in a long time.
That would be cool! Never played those classics, but would love a remaster with modern controls if I'm going to give it a shot.
@TheGrayJedi they hold up in gameplay quite well already actually. So good, there is a community that plays a modified version of the game. Movie battles 2 is a load of fun for multiplayer. And Movie duels for the single player. Check it out sometime.

My opinion: replacing textures with high-res kills the charm of pixelated graphics of the era, doesn't look good.
You'll like one of the options the game has to offer then. My news update will be out within 24 hours, I forgot the exact time I had it scheduled for, but it talks about all the things with the game that we know about so far.

This is pointless. Dark Forces needs full remake, and not just remaster.
I wouldn't say pointless, but I would prefer a remake.
@@TheGrayJedi The main problem is that Dark Forces is not fully 3d game. Its engine does not show true 3d perspective and all enemies are just 2d sprites. This game needs a total remake using at least Quake 3 engine (Jedi Outcast) to pretend to be a modern game. There was actually a project like this, but it was never finished, as far as I know.
Yep, that's true and I agree. Although, I think they're trying to capture the feel of the original for the people that already played the game rather than new players even though they may get some.@@aresnir2725
