In his comments he responds that you dont have to removed the cab. He just removed it for better shoots and to make it easier to film.

I'm not a fan of needing a tool either, but I guess that's what happens when you have such crazy tight tolerances. And I'm not a fan of NewAge "Octavian", simply because of how the upper body transforms into the inner robot (NewAge "David" has retooled legs that transform differently), with that entire(ly unnecessary) faux chest section...that's just gonna get covered up by the armor anyway.
That Matrix looks almost exactly like it's the same mold as the Earthrise Optimus Matrix mold. And oh!! Speaking of Transformer deaths, don't forget about the zombified Terrorcon Cliffjumper from Transformers Prime back in the day. They kinda goofed on it with Magnus here, because his head's still attached to the torso - I say "kinda" because it makes perfect sense for folks who know how the preliminary version of the scene played out, with Magnus being drawn & quartered (literally yanked apart). But for gettin' shot up to blown up? Yeah, they should've got a bit more detailed with what could separate. 😏

Funny enough I literally split my Octavian review - one for the trailer calling it a smooth elegant near-perfect transformation while the other is for the white cab where I branded it over-engineered. So I feel ya

Pass my Kingdom Ultramagnus and Shattered Glass Magnus who has the Delta Magnus colors and have Core robots inside perfect representation of the G1 figures but that is me

I still think he has a higher part count than armada prime plus with the springs in the chest and combiner wars ports as well as all the hinges is why he cost just as much even though hes hollow.
