That’s awsome the way you did that work. I have 7 of these trees that I want to learn to skin and trim. You make it look easy, but those trees kick my ass when I try it.

No entiendo a la gente quiere palmas pero pelonas, lo bonito de una Palma es ver sus ramas jigantes y florecer y ver sus semillas esta bien si las limpian pero ya pelonas pienden su encanto .

I like the way you work! Very detail video..just to let some people know, that might not be too familiar with the different types of palm prunning; skinning and trimming, skinning is more expensive them trimming. This guy did a great job! I like to skinn palms instead of trimming, it is better, healthier for the palms growth..thank you

the thumbs down are because he cut too many healthy fronds, it looks like a paintbrush, you should leave 5-6 making a nice crown.

Do you by any chance know how to treat the Phoenix Canariensis for the palm weevil that is devastating San Diego County. We need some serious help out here quick. I have done research but not found a good way for a homeowner to treat them. It is very expensive so most people to hire a company so they just let their tree die which is horrible. Dead canaries are everywhere. You can't even drive more than half a block to 2 blocks without seeing a dead one. I miss the days before the palm weevil.

YOU ARE NOT REALLY SUPPOSED TO "SKIN" QUEENS. do not cut into the trunk!
The husks or " boot" comes off easily - when it is ready. Nor should you cut ANY GREEN. But yeah thats some good hard work.

You sure do know your techniques but you certainly do not have much knowledge about palms. Hurricane cut style ....those green fronds are essential for a palm it's their food plus photosynthesis. Another thing I have noticed you don't sanitize your tools . That's a no go. Your tools could be contaminated, a disease that you could easily transmit to the next palm. Many palms just die by not cleaning the cutting tools. I know it's just money for you, you aren't attached to the customers palm and little do they know. Down the road that hurricane cut style just is a turn off for palm lovers. Sorry for the bad comment.
