What do think about the G613 and G603 combo, would you go for it?
TekTick I'm planning on buying this mouse when I get extra money. What's the difference between this one and the G703? It costs around 20 more dollars on Amazon and it does look cool with the lights on it but does it blind you when in a dark room? Is this all that's different between the G603 and G703?
I was trying to choose between this and the G305 and went with the G603 because it’s form looks a bit more substantial and comfortable to hold. Thanks for the review, it helped in m decision.
Just got mine today (July 2019.) Great so far! You can use 1 or 2 AA batteries (they're in parallel, so it'll work just fine on 1, but lasts twice as long on 2.) Nice and smooth, 12,000 DPI, good for FPS games :) The lack of a cable is really, really nice too. At $100 Canadian, yes it's a little pricey.
Devil's Offspring may i ask how smooth the scroll wheel is? This mouse has everything i need except for the infinite scroll. I’m worried the notch scroll might be annoying as i do a lot of web browsing for work and coding.
@@tuvu8394 Mine works perfectly so far, but I've only had my G603 for a couple months. Time will tell. Only thing is, it takes very little force to rotate the mouse wheel. I would have preferred a little bit stiffer detent, but you do get used to it. If by "smoothness" you mean taking very little force to rotate it, then you'll really like it :)
Devil's Offspring Thanks a lot, i’ll give it a try then. I just love the shape of it even though i dont game. Plus it has external batteries so that’s perfect.
@@nabeelismail4177 Everything still works. I use a 2560x1440 screen, so I never have mine set to more than 1000 DPI. Batteries will last forever and eternity. Keep one old, used AA cell as a spare, which everyone already has somewhere around the house, and you're good to go. The G603 is completely skip/hangup-resistant, and completely spinout resistant--in other words, you can game without the BS. Truly *fantastic* gaming mouse. If you don't game, just get something cheaper :)
This is, in my opinion, the ideal choice for laptop users. It has the accuracy and performance of a gaming mouse and the heft and long-battery life of a productivity mouse; it also looks sleek and minimalist. I got it for less than 50 dollars from where I bought it.
It is absolutely NOT a budget mouse, there aren't even that many other mice that are more expensive. You could say it is in the lower-end of the new high-end low latency wireless gaming mouse market, but all of those mice are by logitech, and they are all expensive compared to even a good wired gaming mouse. There's so little competition (at least in the way Logi has been marketing the performance of these) for these that prices are pretty sky-high. It's very odd indeed to see this being called 'budget'.
No they aren't. The cheapest on Newegg is $11. There are loads that are around $20-25. The G603 is more than twice that price. It is comfortably outside what people would refer to as "budget". It's great value for money because it's more than twice the mouse, but it is far, far from the cheapest wireless gaming mouse.
I kinda prefer the g603 over the wireless g703/403 since they both got the hero sensor and lightspeed connection, but the g603 is only 50$ now. Plus its really easy to mod and with just some tweaking you can make it lighter than the g703/403.
This mouse is amazing in every aspect except one which is simply not excusable. The scroll wheel is beyond terrible, which is surprising because usually Logitech mice have the best of the best scroll wheel. Other than that, its perfect and the closest thing you can find that resembles the old G5/G7/MX518 Mice, which IMO are the greatest gaming mice ever made.
Very late comment, but may be helpful to potential purchasers. My hands are small but I have been using a very old and quite large G400s that is supremely comfortable for me. I bought a G603 to replace it as it seemed a similar shape. Huge mistake. It is wrong for me in every way. Feels far too big, the hump is too high and is incredibly slippery to grip. The balance also feels “off” to me, wherever I put the battery. I think the problem is all down to my small, dry hands, rather than the mouse itself. Things I loved about it - that soft scroll wheel felt so good and the top cover removal/replacement was incredibly slick without any clicky plastic sounds. Maybe that could become a looseness issue in the future? I don’t know, but it certainly feels great out of the box. I really wanted to like this mouse, sadly not for me.
It would be interesting to know the power consumption difference between low mode and bluetooth. At least in theory bluetooth should offer better autonomy, since the polling rate is slightly lower. But counting with the self-discharge rate of the batteries, it could be pretty much the same.
Why on any review nobody mentioned that Logitech software doesn't recognize the mouse when connected via Bluetooth, thus no configurations are being applied when you use bluetooth. I watched literally all the reviews and nobody mentioned it. I choose this mouse over the G403 exclusively because of Bluetooth feature but as you understand there is almost no use out of it without LG.
Wow, that's an interesting point, didn't know about that. You can configure it the first time then bake in the settings in the mouse itself and then you can change it on the fly.
Has known and wide spread issue of scrool wheel not working. Google it. Otherwise a great wireless mouse. Able to run on 1 battery it can be light, decent priced etc.
personally I don't like internal battery, it tend to have short battery life and u need to charge it every 3-4 days... if the battery went bad then the mouse is useless
I don't like them either, I like this solution more, after all, I have a G602 (probably gonna replace it with G603), but I wish it had like one rechargeable battery (it would be lighter) with like 2500 mAh Eneloop battery and a cable / build it charging module for recharging it every few weeks or so.
that is because manufacturers choose to make such products.... any mobile phone battery lasts more than 5 years, and can provide 2-3 days of power. Mouse has nothing but stupid optical sensor, it would be sufficient for powering one, and battery would last months.
As you know, the selection of a mouse is an important decision for our ergonomy. I am having terrible pain in right hand. Probably because of the small logitech m560 mouse. I have medium-big hands. I am thinking of buying Logitech G603. I noticed that you have done a review for it. I already have a logitech m560 for simple applications. Is the G603 cable adapter needed for the mouse to operate efficiently? In other words it can operate without it? And approximately what precision has in DPI, without the cable? Just using the receiver. Moreover you can connect the cable to the monitor usb port, or you have to connect it directly to the pc? I use the mouse for graphic design/ video editing and gaming. There are days that my wrist hurts awfully. I am 36 years old
this mouse is fucking huge. I'm actually returning because its so big. That's all I can answer, I got this mouse recently and have already decided to return. I heard it tends to break soon after the warranty expires, and because of that it isnt worth the cost imo
@@shaheer3266 Actually the size is fine for my hands. You maybe have small hands. Logitech pro is quite small for my hands. I was thinking g703 but i heard it has actually the same scroll wheel problem with g603. I think indeed they have the same wheel. 603 and 703. Am i right? ps. I dont know for sure if the left click is better in 703. I really dont have any idea.
Nice mouse until it functions. Mine gave up after 10-11 months. Left click if often doubleclicking instead of simple click. Look it up this is an issue affecting a lot of people.
So how is the LG software? Is it heavy or sluggish to use? Also, when you program the buttons on the mouse. Is this flashed/stored locally on the mouse or on the computer via the LG suite? Preferably I would like a mouse where I don't actually need the software installed and can easily switch between Windows and Linux devices easily on the go.
I brought it the other day and I cant recommend it, especially for gaming, its just too heavy because of the two battery inside. Just doesnt feel nice and can feel a tiny delay when playing games But its alright for other stuff, just not gaming
you can easily steal it from microcenter without any added security on the box. i stole mine without any problem 6 months ago and its been doing great for me ever since. Free PC components just feel so much better then ones that cost.
Try this, it worked for me - czcams.com/video/38Bs8e9QQ1E/video.html 😊 I've put something that's a bit more rigid than a paper, I think it was a piece of wood or something.
Don't know if this was mentioned in the video but I have an issue with this mouse where if it slides off the mousepad, it click the speed control button somehow (the one on the top) and it was weirding me out for months as to why the speed kept changing without me pressing the button. It's a very weird design flaw.
Mouse looks great and the video was great also, but the corsair rgb that I have is a lot less expensive and has that extra rgb lightning as well as ergonomic feel. Is there a reason why it was that much cheaper? XD
Anyone know if this mouse and keyboard can be used without batteries with just the cable supplying power? what about logitech's other wireless mice? I want a mouse that I can use at home and on the go.
I’m thinking on buying this on 2020, after my master mx2s is failing but I’m afraid that this g603 has the same issue than the usb wired version where the net scroll start failing after a while, can anyone confirm if this is an issue yet? Thank you!
How does it compare to your G602? Does it feel more responsive? I have the G602 and I feel like it is not as responsive a a wired mouse. So I am considering going back to wire unless this one (603) delivers.
For those editor out there who game as well with a same mouse, will you guys recommend mouse like this or better get a mouse like G602 which has more buttons?
I've used for quite some time, and it works good, but if you're really need those extra buttons, then maybe G602 is still your choice (I also have that one)
Worst Mouse i ever had. Bought it two times and all had problems with the scroll wheel and the switches. Scroll wheel fails after 4-8 weeks and the left switch lasts 6-12 months. That is really bad. Bad. Bad.
Lost my dongle for G603 its not being detected now in bluetooth, how can I use it as a bluetooth mouse with my Dell E6440 Win7 64bit? any breakthrough??? :(
Does the mouse have a problem with the scroll wheel or double clicking? I want to buy this mouse but ive read about these problems about this mouse and now im not so sure
It is not an expensive mouse but mate come on, 5 years later and still i wouldn't call it "BUDGET" at 60€ (price right now on three different pages in spain)
The g603 is a bit bigger and more comfortable, but the g305 is build better. A lot of the g603 start having scroll issues after some use (just google "g603 scroll problem" and look at the amount of results)
Idee vee sorry for the late reply. I'd say the g305 is better performance wise, the g603 is better comfortability wise. If the g603 didn't have that scroll issue so often I would definitely go with it but since they do I personally prefer the g305.
It depends on the battery you put into, the mouse itself is 89 grams, but with the batteries it can go up to 140 grams, but you can only use one battery it you want to, where you can expect around 105 - 110 grams with a lighter one
not the best decision in buying the mouse. size too big. palm hurt and no grip at the side to hold the mouse. finger always slipping thus need more energy to hold the mouse= get tired more. but i will give a week more of testing and then get on with the review again
I have been using this mouse about 1 year and unfortunately, it has problems with its wheel. I see a number of people have the same problem. That means yes they screwed up with the wheel.
When I say budget I was talking in terms of what segment does it falls into, that being a wireless gaming mouse. Having that in mind, you could call it "budget" since it's really price competitive for that segment
Is the build quality of the G603 similar to the G305? Im choosing between the two and ive just read that the build quality of the G305 seems cheap as there's no rubberized sidings. Does the G603 feel cheap as well?
i like the double AA route. Integrated battery forces you on a degrading almost non replaceable element

bruuuuuuuuuuuuuh no difference betweem 1ms and 8ms ?? it's one hell of a difference (if you play shooters of course)
You're right, that's 8x the difference :D
It is not an expensive mouse but mate come on, 5 years later and still i wouldn't call it "BUDGET" at 60€ (price right now on three different pages in spain)
Yes, sure, especially if you have a high refresh rate display
What dpi is each colour?
In bluetooth mode, does it have lag? Or do you need to use the 2.4 ghz adapter for gaming?
Found my answer in specs. Bluetooth®:125 Hz (8 ms)
Nice! Yeah, it's not the fastest :D
This or g305?
Haven't tried the G305 yet 😕
The g603 is a bit bigger and more comfortable, but the g305 is build better. A lot of the g603 start having scroll issues after some use (just google "g603 scroll problem" and look at the amount of results)
@@heikg so in conclusion the g603 is better?
Idee vee sorry for the late reply. I'd say the g305 is better performance wise, the g603 is better comfortability wise. If the g603 didn't have that scroll issue so often I would definitely go with it but since they do I personally prefer the g305.
Hey man! Can you use the 1ms HI setting in Bluetooth mode or only with the dongle? Thanks!
I'm not 100% sure, but looking at it from the technology point of view I would say that you can do that only with the dongle.
Bluetooth only supports 8ms based on the info in their website.
Yeah, I thought so, so basically Bluetooth works at 125 Hz of polling rate
How many ms can i get using a usb
is it a serious scroll problem? How to fix
I'm having problems with mine, waiting for Logitech support for replacement/repair.
U got a sub
Thank you!!
TekTick no Problem i just Ordered the mouse it will arive later october

hey. Do you know if the mouse has to be switched off when not using pc ?
No, you don't need to switch it off, it just idles
Bro this mouse is the same as the g703 and the g403
Does anyone else think that staircase at 1:34 looks like the staircase fell down in toy story
is this good for small hands?
I would say yes, it's not that big
Is it okay to use rechargeable battery on this mouse ?
Yes, of course! 😊
@@MattsPaddock a big thank you !
My left click failed after less than 2 years! never happened to my previous mouses!!! Not impressed!
Same here, they sent me a replacement and after 1 year I now have the infamous scroll wheel problem
How much does the whole mouse weight altogether
It depends on the battery you put into, the mouse itself is 89 grams, but with the batteries it can go up to 140 grams, but you can only use one battery it you want to, where you can expect around 105 - 110 grams with a lighter one
Do you experience any interference between G603 and G613?
None whatsoever!
If they make it with omron switch replaceable that will be awesome
whats the difference between this and the 403
RGB lightning
not the best decision in buying the mouse. size too big. palm hurt and no grip at the side to hold the mouse. finger always slipping thus need more energy to hold the mouse= get tired more. but i will give a week more of testing and then get on with the review again
Excellent information, regards.
I have been using this mouse about 1 year and unfortunately, it has problems with its wheel. I see a number of people have the same problem. That means yes they screwed up with the wheel.
I'm actually using their G403 and I have some problems with the wheel too. It just doesn't scroll as it should, it's hectic.
Tural Suleymanov then its good we have something called RMA.
@@MattsPaddock did u find a solution?

Same sensor as the g pro right?
Yes, their Hero sensor
Good video, so when it will be released?
It will be available starting through September!
does this work with the unifying receiver?
No, It doesn't have that logo
can this mouse scroll horizontally? (side scrolling)?
No, unfortunately
Yes, check out the custom command list at 5:54 (Option 6 and 7).
I ned japan link /:
budget you call £60 budget no like £20 up to £30 is budget not £60 my current mouse cost me £10 it's a hiraliy f-300 and that is budget
When I say budget I was talking in terms of what segment does it falls into, that being a wireless gaming mouse. Having that in mind, you could call it "budget" since it's really price competitive for that segment
does this have the mercury sensor?
It has the new Hero sensor
Is the build quality of the G603 similar to the G305? Im choosing between the two and ive just read that the build quality of the G305 seems cheap as there's no rubberized sidings. Does the G603 feel cheap as well?
Haven't had a chance to try out the G305, although by the looks of it, they look pretty same build quality wise, but maybe I'm wrong
