Is 400 the most miles you’ve gone till empty? I have an 05 g35 sedan and I always have an empty tank at around 280-320 miles even though I drive pretty conservatively.
Yeah 400 is my highest. I don’t drive on the freeway very often normally, and that 400 only came from a long 300 mile trip. I typically get 300 miles in a tank pretty much every time though.
My 03 g35 got 21.4 mpg when i got it at 120k. Now at 177k gets 20mpg. I drive spiritedly. A couple months ago i freaked out when suddenly started getting 16.3 mpg. I fixed a Y pipe exhaust leak and boom back to 20+ mpg. I have a plenum spacer and heavy wheels and still get good mpg
That's pretty good dude! I just put a Magnaflow exhaust on mine (video coming soon) and if it improves my gas mileage even just a little bit I'll be stoked. Sounds like it does a lot for you.
@@juanagustin4897 I was waiting for a burger at a Bking drive thru and heard a hissing sound bouncing off the wall. I found thats a good way to check exhaust sounds just to park next to a wall and listen for changes
Mine is a 2006 with 93,000 miles. I’ve owned it for a year and it’s been pretty reliable. The only things I’ve replaced are normal maintenance things like my belts and tires as well as radiator/coolant hoses because rubber degrades over time. Right now I’m dealing with a fuel sensor issue where apparently both of my fuel sensors aren’t working right so I had to replace those. Other than that I’ve had no major mechanical issues, but again I’ve only had this car for a year.
@@ryanjcartist Sucks though because I paid $500 to replace them and these new ones function worse than the original ones I had. I have no idea why the check engine light came on in the first place.
In my 20+ year of driving i have never ever been in a situation like that. Even when coasting in a manual car. It takes me a split of a second to engage the right gear. The only coasting i don't do is when taking turns other than that its just a myth.
You will destroy ur car by coasting the in neutral. These cars dont put any fuel when u are off the throttle downhill. Please dont spread wrong information that will effect the clutch in longevity by a huge margin in damage.
2010 G37S manual averages around 18.5 mixed use. If all highway I can get 20 but eventually it averages out to 18.5 long term with mixed use.

Sell it and get a 2009+ g37 more powerful motor and better on gas due to the 7 at transmission.

Right now since gas is near $5 a gallon in CA, it costs me about $90
