Norwegian Viva - Day 5| Food Republic, Syd Norman's, Murder mystery, Observation lounge, Sunset.

- Come join us, Mel & Caroline aka the TravelFlirts as we continue our 11 day transatlantic cruise from spectacular Lisbon, Portugal to Miami, US.
Our 11 day adventure included stops at the exotic and mysterious Islands of the Azores, the chilled and laid back St. Thomas AVI, and a final stop at Taino bay on the beautiful lush tropical island of Dominican Republic.
In this episode, we enjoy our third sea day. We take time to explore & enjoy all that the VIVA has to offer especially as the stormy seas and the gale force winds have subsided. We return to Hudson's for breakfast and it never disappoints! We challenge our collective grey matter by attending the Murder Mystery puzzle & we do manage to solve the who done it! After using all that brain power we are hungry so we head up to a rather busy pool deck to check out the Surfside Café for lunch...we eat light because our evening plans for dinner entail the wonderful Food Republic...check out the Vlog to see what we had...oh wow how many dishes did we eat! LOL Then it was on to the very special speak easy show at Syd Normans pour house with Fagan! One of the things we really love about Norwegian is the quality of the entertainment, and this show did not disappoint!
Who says Sea Days can be boring? Not us!! And certainly not onboard the beautiful Viva!

The sunset was fantastic & the observation lounge was the perfect location to view it with a drink in hand & lovely company! We are on our next cruise in a couple of days .. so yes we are ready to get cruising again! 🤣😜🥳🛳️🇺🇸🇵🇷

The murder mystery looks like fun, I never saw it on any of the NCL ships I was on. Is it just for the TA crossing or this class of ships? Seems like another fun sea day.
👋🏻 the murder mystery was fun & yes we’ve never seen it on any other sailing.. including our TA crossing on the PRIMA to Iceland .. it was so well attended, they should add it to the regular activities perhaps! People say sea days are boring .. but we always seem to find the right combination of activities & chill time! 🥳😜🛳️😎
