He's still very uncomfortable talking about the woman he fell in love with 20 years ago. Like he says he would do everything all over again with selena. I can imagine how uncomfortable he is hearing about selena over & over , its just re-opening the wound for him.

Besides Selena was going to be huge star like Madonna, that amount of pressure could change a lot of things. There is as much possibility that they would split as there is of them being happily married with 5 kids.

Suzzette kept looking at Chris bc she wanted him to join the conversation but he seemed to be uncomfortable discussing Selena in this interview. During the Billboard dedication at 3:35 Chris seemed overwhelmed naturally. Currently though Chris is doing much much better and is discussing Selena and promoting his book, Rocking with his band and dedicating songs to his late wife. Great therapy for Chris.
Yeah, Chris has come a long way and the way he works so hard in celebrating the Legacy of his wife each year. As he said in an interview once, everything happened within the three weeks time frame; their marriage anniversary, her death and her bday.

Imagine it was handed to Chris and then he got married and then his new wife was completely in conrtol of his ex wifes legacy and money..wow imagine the damage that new wife could potentially cause if they got a divorce. I have ro fact check but i do know his ex-wife got something that Chris received from selenas. I think it may have been, I think, the boutique.. but not certain. By the way Chris receives a portion percentage and was paid I believe afew million or so (not fact checked) but he was given afew 2 or 3 at the time and was given the new property they were building together and alot more. The sister, family, husband and fans were all robbed of Selena so therefore her legacy must be preserved as they had many projects, ideas, music, in the works. They knew her best. They want to fulfill her dreams and cement her status as musical ICON as she was in the Latin market already but not in the English market. So they had to maintain ways to continue to keep her relavent not for profits cause they're starving and need shelter or want to go shopping and buy jewels, and expensive homes and expensive cars but because they want her legacy to flourish through the years as the younger generations were not even born. So they need to find creative ways to introduce her music and life story into newer audiences to come. What's so wrong with that? So you want them to hybernate and never come up with a concept idea that can possibly bring new fans and keep her life and music relavent? I see nothing wrong with that. Once again, that shows your own hate. You want them to forget about her legacy? and never speak or create something special for Selena? such as the makeup line afew years back. It was Selena dream already and she was also working on a perfume. They should not be made to be villains cause they're fulfilling her dreams for future generations to come. I'm from Fort Worth but grew up in Minnesota. She died 2 years before I was born and I still love her with all my heart and listen to her music. I met Chris at his book signing and the people at the bookstore give you a sticky to write on so you can give it to Chris to help him write what you want in the book. You can tell he is sweet, quiet and very introverted...he really tries hard to be more open. I had wrote something on my sticky but ended it with Love, Chris..and when he got to that part to sign Love, Chris he froze...inside I was thinking oh crap!!!!! Then I told him quickly just sign Chris.

I grew up listening to Selena I love absolutely everything about her I don’t think it’s possible to even dislike her, she’s such a friendly,kind soul that would just light up any room.even though I could never understand her song unless it was in English I could stop listening to the Spanish version over and over and over again not even knowing what Anas saying but you can feel the emotion or just dance.im so sadden but feeling excited to watch this interview.its tough! I love Selena Quintanilla so very much I was only a baby when the move selena came out in 1997 my parents named me after this beautiful soul Selena and I'm honered to be carrying this name on as I was growning up I saw this wonderful move selena I love love loved it so very much I watched this move like about 100 times and sang along to all of the songs and I always tell people my name came form a move still up to this very day and year 2018 I still look at the move listen to the songs and sing along Selena has inspired me so very much she helped me to see my real true passion and love for singing and I always tell myself that I want to see myself up on stage like her this move connected me so much to selena although I didn't know her in person but every time I look at the move or think of her I just break down in tears selena is my everything I'll hold the name up high for as long as I live selena will never ever be forgotten she will always have a very special place in my heart forever and always selena will be loved and it really hurts to see a legend a superstar get taken away so soon but I know selena is in a better place she is with Jesus in heaven and she is looking down on each and everyone of us her fans and her family and she is very happy that we still celebrate her life and he legecy Selena for me will live on and on and I believe that one day we her fans and family will get the very change to be with her again in heaven and to the Quintanilla family I love u all so very much and my name is selena Mohammed from Trinidad and Tobago one love.
