- This is the City of Pearl, a metropolis that would change the Philippines forever. This project would be a game-changer as it brings only the best luxury the world can find, and guess what? It's already approved way back in 2017!

Summary Script
In the year 2017, a project that would become the world’s biggest smart city was approved, and it would be located in no other than the new Manila Bay. Yes, this is the 407-hectare reclamation mega-project known to be the City of Pearl, and it would be a city so advanced that it is actually run by artificial intelligence.
This metropolis is composed of only the finest living the world can find, even in each building, whether low or high rise, they will be able to enjoy the unparalleled view of Manila Bay, along with a world-class golf course. This is to ensure that the City of Pearl will be one of the world’s most extravagant livings.
There will also be a central business district where iconic skyscrapers, top-class commercial areas, and likewise 5-Star Hotel. A central park will be implemented in the port where it has a 3 kilometer long river-side shopping sector, making it Asia’s best entertainment center.
The thing that makes this place iconic is that commercial zones, recreational and residential districts, top-class casino’s, extravagant yacht clubs, and convention centers are positioned perfectly in the entrance of the metropolis. This means that the property value of the lands surrounding this city is surely something that you can only find in the most expensive cities in the region.
To go into detail, a Marina Club will be constructed where it would unquestionably be hailed as a place where only the elites among elites go. The design of this club will make sure that its facilities will be nothing but world-class. A convention center will likewise be built called the M.I.C.E, it is where first-class international exhibitions are held; I am certain that only the most exclusive events in the world will be carried here. It will also have a Mega-Stadium where sports activities will be held, and the most important factor to mention is that this will be named as the Pac-Man Stadium, to show the world the Philippines’ fighting spirit.
To ensure that everyone can come and go into the metropolis, it will have the most advanced driverless railway system where the whole place is connected through a loop road network. Making it a dynamic transportation link so that traffic congestion will never be a problem to the metropolis.
While it is the world’s largest smart city, it is also planned to be a green living where renewable energy are produced to ensure that pollution is not seen in any parts of the metropolitan area, but this isn’t obviously a guaranteed fact as the neighboring cities near this is known for producing bad-air quality mainly because of its traffic congestion.
This megacity is designed by Hong Kong’s prominent architectural firm Ho Partners Architects Engineers and Development Consultants. It is a top-notch company that is recognized for designing several master plans around the world. They were the ones behind Lakeside City in Malaysia, Sriracha Creative District in Thailand and a project called Alpha Square located in one of London’s new central business district Canary Wharf.
One of the executives of Ho Partners is Nicholas Ho, known for winning several awards around the globe, and according to him he has said that “None in Asia has this scale of development in such a prime location with such a visionary approach. There are many townships in Asia, but those townships are in the middle of nowhere. New Manila Bay is prime in terms of its location and has a 360-degree ocean view.”
This just makes it quite an exciting feat for this city, as we know who is actually designing it. This is surely one of the most impressive projects around the earth! It will boost the entire country of the Philippines into a new level of contemporary living.
The New Manila Bay, City of Pearl, will be constructed by a company called the UAA Kinming Group Development along with partners from around the globe, starting from China, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Americas. This is to ensure that this project will be attended to by only the best people around.

I love how we are obsessed with high-end, extremely luxurious things just so us, Filipinos, can prove to the world that we are "world-class" when existing cities in Manila doesn't even have a decent flood control system or even decent roads that does not degrade every two years (or before election season if you know what I mean). Even if this project does happen, pretty sure most of us won't even be able to afford to go to it and only the ultra rich can benefit greatly from it.

That is just one of the 25 projects to be done in Manila Bay. Other projects that already cleared and approved were: Horizon Manila, SM Bay City, Solaire's Cruise Center. All those 4 to be started next year. Cheers!

That why the manila bay is slowly being transformed and a lot of families in slum areas are being relocated in a more decent community. Trains are being constructed. These little steps are in preparation for a bigger and better City of Pearl maybe in blueprints right now. Slowly but surely, if we will all cooperate and stop trolling we will experience a Philippines version 2.0 sometime in our lifetime

Real name of the project is "New Manila Bay International Community". City of Pearl is just one of the conceptual designs. The real master plan will be different than " City of Pearl" concept but still looks great.
I saw the video of the "New Manila Bay Int'l City" and it is a separate reclamation project under a different name, and it seem to be at its final stage of approval, atleast how it appears on the video. Per public disclosure, the new city will be called "Horizon City," there is a video by youtuber Neonflix showing no less than Mayor Isko and the project officials togther in an event, there is also a separate video by J Brothers construction... If you look at the city map presented to Isko, you will see that the City of Pearl lies North East of Horizon, entrance at Baseco... I think the government opted to be quiet to minimise opposition... But it seem, as per latest reclamation map, City Pearl is still happening pero secret lang muna, magugulat na lang tayo... Exciting diba...

There is no such thing as "Horizon City", you must be referring to " Horizon Manila". You might be confused with the name because "Horizon Manila" exist as a proposal reclamation project, there is no such thing as "Horizon City".

You will find them the same, you will also see Mayor Isko with the developers signing the plan. At 2:38 you will see in the reclamation map Horizon City and North East is City of Pearl (adjacent to one another), the video is quite recent. Coincidentally William Ti of WTA Architecture also recently released their design of Horizon City Manila... They are partnering with J Bros consrruction and also with a Belgian drilling team... There are many possible concepts for proposal from the past yrs for the ph and the approval of this concepts are still unclear due to bad global events that's already happening for so many yrs including corruption in ph gov and DENR are worried for possible cause and effect of the proj in Mla Ph
So I came here to say that this proj. Isn't a dream anymore! They starting to build this behind manila bay (ongoing)and can't wait for many development that will push through not only in manila but in every city and provinces in the Philippines.

It's now underway. No need to go to Hong Kong, Dubai, New York, Sydney, and Singapore because all the world can now see all their favorite cities in Manila itself. This is the start of the New Born Mega City of Manila and all the entire key cities are also paving their way as the next Smart Cities like Metro Cebu, Iloilo, Clark in Pampanga, and Metro Davao. A new international airport in Manila located in Bulacan is now under construction which is one the biggest in Asia on record.

As long it will not end up like the Forest City in Malaysia where the mainland Chinese owns and controls everything, then everything is fine. In the Forest City, the main language is Mandarin. All the signages are in Mandarin. It is basically a Chinese city in Malaysia.
edit: I learned that this City of Pearl is part of the one belt one road project of China. This will really become like Forest City. Better cancel this project if it's not yet canceled. We don't need an artificial island where most of the inhabitants are from mainland China.

the Manila LGU does not deserve such project because previous reclamation projects like the port area ang BASECO were not even utilized to the fullest of its potential, dinugyot lang. Beside maganda lang tingnan sa drawing yang pearl project but in reality mid-rise building lang ang pweding i build sa reclaim land, dirty water ways and traffic will make the city inconvenient to live.. The government shall rather fucos on building the new clark city to decongest metro manila.
Yes, you're right, so many big projects in the Philippines are really exciting and useful for the Filipinos, but we must think about what we really need, how the public, private or public-private sectors will allocate its resources, and of course, how much risk are Filipinos (not the Government) taking for having such big projects that can be stopped and canceled instantly because of external (even internal) problems like lack of funding or even a health crisis.
I hope and pray these projects will proceed as expected by the majority of the Filipinos, more jobs to be created and no more OFW's in the future, God willing & God Bless the Philippines!!!

Even if Filipinos build a lot of islands in Manila Bay, there is no point if you can't see the mountains and natural scenery. But if you have a lot of man-made islands like Dubai and a lot of rich and famous investors who build skyscrapers like Dubai, that's fine.
I wish & suggest that there should be an iconic landmark that could be identified right away at a distance that it is Manila or Philippines .. Just like the Eiffel Tower of France, the Statue of Liberty of US, & etc.
