The end result is beautiful but it wasn’t easy getting there. Is a 3 piece crown always that difficult or did the octagonal ceiling make it exponentially harder? I’m going to watch your other 3 piece crown video to find out.

It’s much easier and faster to pre-fab your 3 piece crown… I have a video or two on it… Check it out… Mine is built to 5 inches and it will fit perfectly square in your miter saw…
-By the way I now use a pin nailer for hanging my regular crown… thanks for the tip I’ve been using an 18 gauge for years… Never thought about using a pin nailer for crown molding…
