Hi, and thank you. The grey circle means you keep your finger on that string even though another finger will be placed in front of it. This is done to save time during chord changes :)

Man, you are a myth, seriously. I just started learning guitar, I'm a big CCR fan and I got to know you from your Proud Mary tutorial. You not only teach chords and strumming, but how sing along while playing is what I ultimately want to achieve and you provide a great example. Thank you very much.
Just one request: Any AC/DC songs? I know the singing part might be hard work, but there are some that can be turned to acoustic and they are simply great.

Hey Alan, I enjoy *trying* to play and sing along with your tutorials. Hope you don't mind a dumb question .....how do you know what note to start the song on ? I've tried just matching your start note on "Hold on" and then singing it into a tuner ....My guess it is the high F#4 to the D4 ... but apart from looking at sheet music, any tips for this. Cheers...and love your work
