    I am 71 and swim work out 3 x a week for 2 hrs each time. New noodle work! Noodles and laps as I listen to heavy tunes makes my life so much more fun. Plan to try some of these new ones. I have tied this in with 100 pounds lost and my only resolution now is to keep it off. Thanks for the ideas.

    • @WaterExerciseCoach

      Mei Yen thank you for watching! It is recommended to do water exercises in chest deep water when possible. At chest depth you reduce impact on the joints, carrying only 25% of body weight. Hope that helps!

    • @WaterExerciseCoach

      Great question. You can use any flotation equipment: hand held buoyancy (hand bars) or noodle (with or without a solid core). A solid core noodle will be more resistant.

    • @WaterExerciseCoach
      @WaterExerciseCoach  Před 9 měsíci

      As for any exercise: "Move in your feel good range". If you feel pain or discomfort make the move smaller, slow down, or adjust the feet. Jogging in water is a great total body strengthener!

      Thank your for your question! Water shoes help protect the feet providing cushion as there is 50% of body weight impacted on joints in waist deep and 25% joint loading at chest deep. Also provides better traction for moving from one more to the next.

      Jog 8-min
      Alternate Arm Pull Downs 2-min; Jog 30-seconds

      Reverse Arm Pull Downs 2-min; Jog 30-seconds
