New homeless shelters at Poverello House announced

  • Thirty new, state-of-the-art pallet shelters designed and built by people with life experience as homeless individuals, will replace the old Tuff sheds that have been in use for two decades at the Poverello House.

    I wish my taxes went towards something like this. Every city should be required to get housing like this for the homeless. It's better for the community.

    I'm very glad to see this happening. Proper tiny houses will be much more encouraging than sheds.

      I'm curious: Do you think these are " Proper tiny houses " ? and not just metal sheds ?

    I'm sober. Don't drink don't do drugs other tham Cannabis I've been homeless in fresno for 2 years. Never had poverello help

      How do you survive im on day 2 struggling to find a spot to sleep without getting kicked out by cops and can't find a place to charge my phone

      Well, it's not exactly easy or free to take care of the homeless, not sure why profit is a problem, but that's just me. ;)
