      Fermented milk? The libretto says such thing? I don´t remember. I read it in spanish. You know, then the young Vladimir accepted the "milk" and accepted the Khan´s daughter.

      @@annefranciselizabeth3840 Perhaps he means it's lacking in poetry compared to the original. Personally, I don't think it is. I think it is both faithful to the original and sufficiently poetic in its own right.
