I got to see this song at AnimeExpo!!
I actually recorded it there, so that I could listen to it later. I ended up making a cover pretty much right when I got home from AX. Eheheh....
So this is the answer song to Just be Friends. I made a cover of JBF with IA already, and I really loved how she sounded for this song, so yaaaay.
I might make a UST, but I don't think that I'm going to release the VSQx... I'd rather not have this gorgeous song spammed with every vocaloid available...

Don't sweat it. Some people like to rage about artistic license. Personally I feel as if what you did made the video unique. So what if you blocked out Luka by accident? the IA picture at the end of the PV is priceless.

No, it's not that; it's NOT because it's a Luka original.
When I hear Luka singing (IMO) there's an innate and clearly discernible ethereal sweetness, innocence, kindness, warmth that's channeled in her voice. Take her song "The Little Mermaid" for instance. It was made in the summer of 2009 (just a few months after her release). To this very day, there's not one cover (and there are many of them) that can match the original for the qualities mentioned. Listen to them yourself and honestly judge for yourself.
All that is gone here. Maybe I loose that aura because IA's voice sounds a bit raspy or nasally. It's just not how I want to listen to the tenderness of this song.

The 2009 version is perfect for me. The instruments and voice are a perfect match. Both being very ethereal and "mermaid-ie" sounding. Other voices, so far, don't have that mystical resonance to them, imso
