Some roads are a little too rocky to be left as-is. Some mistakes are too big to keep.

Besides...if I had time-travel, I wouldn't go back to my younger self...I'd go back to about 0 A.D., around the Great Lakes region, and give the natives agriculture, a universal language, practical environmentalism, logic, a few key socioeconomic concepts, mathematics, methodological naturalism, a few core hints in certain fundamental fields of science, and a warning about visitors from the eastern sea. Then I'd hop forward in time a decade or so at a time, to observe their progress, drop additional hints where warranted, and keep them on track.

Which pretty much means I'd be murdering every human who's lived in roughly the last 1900 years...by preventing any of them at all from ever existing. And I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it.
That was a bad interview... :S So sorry that went so poorly. Ryan was obviously tired and you just hit him with scripted questions... :S
